June 22 Magic (Western)

Hi, everyone!! Just wanted to chime in and wish all our gentlemen a happy fathers day!

Roberta and Debbie I love your philosophy that a woman can never have enough shoes!!! Howard counted mine recently and reported, with a big smirk! He didn't even consider the pumps I keep in my office in black and navy and brown!!! Oh, yeah, there is a pair of sneakers down by the treadmill! Woops!! Guess my secret's out! ;)

I have been at work for about 1/2 hour and will buckle down now. I will have to leave it to Jen and Andy to make Howard's Fathers' Day special, so that he and I will be able to have 8 special days together without me worrying about work:rolleyes:

Take care and have fun packing! Oh, yeah, that reminds me--gotta find my really really dark sunglasses. I just love the little guy with the ray-bans, don't you?

BTW, I will have my email "up" all day if anyone wants to keep me company--I'd love to hear from you--it might make the day bearable. :p

Hi everyone!!! It's been a while since I've posted and we just wanted to say hi and hope everyone has a safe trip. Also, Thanks-so- much for the up-dated cruiser' list KeenerCam!!!! That was very nice of you to take the time to compile it for all of us!!!!!!!!!!! Oh well, gotta-go and get some more packing done, hope to see everyone on the ship SOON!!!!!!!! Steve

Just thought I'd share another tip--
Postcard labels. We do them on clear labels and just take the sheets of labels with us in a ziploc bag w/pens and postcard stamps--regular postcard stamps will work for Key West, though you may want to buy some there. But, you will have to buy postcard stamps locally in mexico, grand cayman and castaway cay. Anyway, we just put the ziploc bag in my tote and carry it off the ship at each port, find the postcards, write them, and mail them in one easy sweep. It makes life so much easier for us, and friends and family are more likely to get postcards if I don't have to remember the addresses, etc.
So, you have a couple more days, if you want to pull out your address book and start typing.:D

Hi everyone, well I think most of the last minute shopping is done and we are washing clothes. Rianna is almost packed. Ross will be packed by tonight. Ralph and I both have ironed piles of clothes and will pack them this week. We are at my parent's house right now for Father's Day, oh by the way, Happy Father's Day to all you guys out there that are Daddys going on the June 22nd cruise. Ralph is getting his hair cut by my Dad right now and Ross will go to where he gets his cut this week after one of his finals. Rianna is going on Tuesday for a trim and I don't need to do anything with mine. Just need to finish ironing and packing and cleaning the house. Have a great day everyone and remember to make sure you have a pair of shoes for all your outfits ladies!!! Take care and God Bless...........

OK, I'm trying--and that is the key word--to pack. I thought I was taking less than last year--I way over packed. I had planned to cut out one suit case. Instead I seem to be worse off!! My son has a suit and a sports coat, I have a long dress and a blazer for my 6 yr old and a million shoes that do NOT fit in the suitcase!! Now I have to rethink this whole packing thing. We have a large rolloing suitcase and 2 duffle bag suitcases and a small garment bag with my husband's suit, dress shirts, son's dress shirts and 2 dresses. Of course that doesn't include the carryons and camera case. I know I'll need extra room for purchases, plus I neer pack as efficiently on the way back. Any suggestions? It still is hard to believe the cruise is so close. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone at the Radisson on Friday. Beth

Well, I am at the computer with a glass of wine at my side and Ralph just asked me to go to Cindi and Bob's...they are going with us on the cruise (Ralph's sister). I guess we will drive around the corner and stop in for a quick 1/2 hr. I think we are almost packed except the dress clothes and last minute stuff. Remember, anyone flying in pack the razors, cork screws, tweezers etc, anything sharp in you suitcase to get checked under the plane, not in your carry on as it will be take away. Just a thought to remember. Well, keep in touch and keep packing!!!!

First of all, I just wanted to say Happy Father's Day to all the dad's out there! I hope everyone had a great day!

Got the tropical situation settled! Found a nice skirt and top to go together to look somewhat tropical! :p I can't believe one week from today, we'll be in Key West!!!

Counting down the days...

Beth,

I am going to introduce my 6yo to your 6 yo! See everyone on Deck 10 at the sail away celebration!

Hi all,

Hope every one had a great weekend. Ddi a lot of packing and a little ironing. My 16 yo wants to pack himself. So we shall see what he is dressed in every night. He is also letting his hair grow. I hate it but it's not a battle I am going to fight. He's a good kid and has great grades so the hair is somthing I will have to live with for a while. Besides in July he goeas to football camp with the varsity and they shave all the new kids heads, so I only have to wait a month. So if you see a six foot blue eyed kid with lots of curls it's him.

I wouldn't worry too much about the weather. One there's nothing we can do about it, two in Florida every day's forcast is the same. Thunderstroms late afternoon. friday it was so bad I pulled into Walmart for an hour. My greatest fear is lightning.

Well have a great week and see you all real soon. Safe travels to all.

Well after months of waiting, it's finally here! We're heading out tomorrow morning at 10:00. I had my manicure, pedicure, not done packing or ironing...can you see where my priorities are???? It's been great getting to know everyone the past few months. Just a few more days and we'll be putting faces with all those names!
Here's to safe travels and smooth flights! See you all on Sat. on Deck 10!!!

Beth, Tony, Lyndsay and Logan:bounce:

We were on the 6/8 Magic, and it was sensational! I am jealous that you are going this coming weekend! Have fun, and I'll think of you on Saturday at 5:00!:D

Beth, Tony and crew....Have a safe trip down and Happy Birthday Beth. We will see you on deck 10 on Saturday or maybe in the terminal. You have a picture of us, so look for us at the terminal. Ross will be in all Orange. Take care and God Bless and safe travels.........

I guess this is it ----everyone is packing, getting loaded up and heading to sunny florida for a Magical trip of Never Neverland - I wish you everything good that will bring you a smile ---may this excitement and happiness continue even after you get home - I am going to miss this thread as much as I did the others that I got involved in -I hope the friends that I have had contact with, will keep in touch and if you ever in this part of the world again, please make sure you keep in touch ---maybe we can meet for coffee, lunch or something.
God bless each of you super good.
With love always
your friend
Shirley
