June 2011 - keep your reservation and don't panic

THis is why I am optimistic. We are going for 10 days at the end of june at the GF. This year we did the same thing. I booked my trip for mid december and was able to book all of my ADR's at 180 days with no problem. Got any day and time choice (CRT, La CEllier, O'Hana, etc). 4 days after my 180 day window, Disney sent me a pin for 40%off. A month later the same deal was offered to the general public. I am 100% convinced that disney will offer deals for this time of year again, but I am hoping that they wait till after the 180 day booking window. Very few people will be booked and ADR's will be very easy to come by.

I agree. Right now none of those discounts could be applied to my mid-June trip, but I'm certain discounts will be released later for that time period (and there's always the possibility of receiving a PIN). I'm not too worried/disappointed at this time.

I think its great news that are continuing the room discounts. I have a feeling that the room discounts will be extended through June when this promotion expires November 21. Free dining is not that great a discount when your stayinng deluxe.

Exactly. Right now our plan is between the S/D OR CR. We'll only stay at CR if we get the room discount. We don't even plan on doing the DP next year (or if we were to, it would be the QSDP), so keeping my fingers crossed for the 40% discount. If it doesn't happen, I'm fine with staying at S/D, so it's all good.

I agree - the same for May. I booked for Jan last year in November and they only had discounts out through March 1st. Later came great discounts for March-June. Here is to hoping for some magical discounts for mid 2011!
