June 2011 Code watch...anybody in?!

My pin blacked out summer and that seems to be what other people are saying. I thought I did read that someone may have gotten a summer one, but not for much, like 10% or something. We want to go the last week of June as we are both teachers. The waiting is horrible!

Well, I called this morning, and sure did have a PIN. However, it blocked out June 6th to August 20th. So that didn't help me so much. But still good to know

Kids Stay and Play does not allow for park hopper. The other late spring/early summer deal is pretty good.

That so cool! We will be there the exact same date!! I didn't know that about the hopper.
You mean I can't pay the extra and get a park hopper for the kids?

is that availability is actually increasing at CR which is where we're staying. For the last several months, there have been no garden view or bay lake view rooms on the website when I plug in our dates. This weekend both categories started showing up.

And when I search for ADRs for 6/19-6/25, most of the hard to get places are available at a variety of times. The only one I haven't seen is Le Cellier for dinner. But CG, CRT, 'Ohana have all been readily available. There are even Fanstasmic! dinner ADRs to be had for this week. I checked for Tuesday, 6/21 and would have had my choice of all three participating restaurants. Is it too early for this to be a reliable indicator of demand at full price?

I agree and hope this means discounts are coming. I only booked recently and had the choice of anyvroom anywhere. I have often been suspicious though, especially with CR, that they hold back the cheaper rooms so that people will book the more expensive. yes, no garden rooms have been available. thanks for posting. I just checked and then called and changed my room and saved lots! Still hoping for a discount though!! Note to Disney: I would spend more on 'stuff' if I got a discount!

I wish that Disney would see the amount of teachers that go to Disney in the summer and know that on our salaries, we would be more likely to go to Disney if there was a discount in the summer time. We booked with a AAA discount for now, but are still hoping for something better.

I saw on this thread post 4 http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2639891 that a dismember called and had a room only discount for late June.

Has anyone else had any luck with a code for mid-to-late June?

I am planning a trip for June 16th-28th at Pop and then June 28th-30th (maybe July 1st) at AKL and would love a discount!

It saved us 20% at Kidani village in a 1 bedroom villa and it saved us 10% for our last night at POFQ. The 10% is not much but it's better than nothing.

The discount for the values during the summer is 10%. It's a room only discount, but the best discount so far for the last week in summer. I am hoping something better comes along.

We are going a few days after school ends. If Disney offered a great teacher discount we'd go every year! Resort upgrade would be nice........

Yeah, that is true, but I don't like that the Swan and Dolphin do not allow you to have the dining plan and my family really likes to have the dining plan also.

Oh, I didn't know that. That does make a difference. If you are not eligible for Free Dining (I'm not either) you could always buy yourself a gift card for meals with the money you saved with the teacher discount-- if the discount of staying at Swan / Dlophin made it tempting enough to want to stay there. I understand though. I've never wanted to stay at S/D either. Last time we went, we took the bus to BWI for dinner. The bus went right by S/D. It made me think 'gosh, the S/D really is just as close!'

Let's just keep hoping for big June discounts!

Another teacher here hoping for the June discount. Last year we got the QS free with a code and it was great. Right now out last day is unsure, we have missed a lot of snow days, so it is hard to plan exactly when we will go. I am looking at mid June if it ever quits snowing.

Beach Club for June 10-18, but the discount only covered us for 1/2 the trip. Hoping for an AP discount to cover the entire time, but at least we have something booked and the planning can officially begin again!
