June 2009 Code Watch - Line up, it's time!

I forgot about this thread!!

June 9-16 at Pop (Standard room), 1A/1C with DxDDP and 1 day passes (we have AP's) $1320- savings of $266 even with buying the passes!

I can't believe that I just save over $1200 with a code for June! :goodvibes

Just the other day, I told my mom not to count on any deals in June.

We just jumped onto the new 7-for-4 deal to modify our reserviation for 6/4-6/11. We only saw about a $400 savings but had a room type upgrade thrown into the mix.

I just booked with the new 7 for 4nights deal. We are going Sun 6/7 to Sun 6/14, Grand Floridian, 3 people, $2818. That's cheaper than my recent 6 night stay at GF 2 weeks ago, costing $3229.

Never been in early June before, never been in the summer when it's busy before. Hopefully it won't be that bad. I couldn't take the kids out of school any more in 2009.

I also got the 7 for 4 deal today. I thought we would buy annual passes but this worked out pretty well. We got 2 rooms at Music 8 nights and 7 day tickets for 2 adults 1 jr and 1 child. total $2412. I actually thought it would be $200 less - taxes maybe? I have not received my confirmation e-mail yet.

Woo Hoo! With the new 7 for 4 discount, we get to go in 2009!

We are going June 6 - 13

Never in my wildest dreams did I think the discount would be out for June before Thanksgiving. Makes me wonder if we will get lucky enough for it not to be packed? That would be nice.

For whomever was asking if your trip starts in June you need a June discount. In past years a July 4th week discount probably would not have happened but this year :confused3 you could get lucky!

Does anyone know when the Southwest schedule will be released for June? Good air would be such an extra bonus!

I think they just opened through May, so I would guess at the end of the year or beginning of January.

We have a $420 credit from December to go towards June already! This trip keeps getting cheaper, and cheaper!!!

isn't that funny! Who would have thought that in Nov we would already have June discounts taken care of??????????

I also never would have thought. Haven't seen deals out this early since 2002 - 2003! Esp. June - usually very hard to find. So, were are excited as well. :yay:

We just booked a June trip! June 20-27 Poly LVC (with the 7/4 deal) and June 27- July 6 at BC (hoping for a good AP rate or another special offer). Now we'll be there for my ds's actual birthday!

Just used the new deal on our trip. Saved $1700! So we added an extra night with meal plan at AKL CL and still saved $1100.

Just an update, my TA was able to get us back to a GV room, so our net savings went up to about $1,100.:woohoo:

The cynic in me is saying that, with the economy where it is and Disney's down earnings announced yesterday, they are trying to get as many folks in the parks as they can; I'm guessing they may not be seeing quite so many bookings as usual for the first half of 2009. By adding three nights onto the trip, they create an incentive for people to book a trip, and with three additional nights, people will be spending more on dining, souvenirs, etc. while in the parks.

Of course, I'm not complaining. I'm just happy I can take advantage of the savings. :cloud9:

I agree with you 100%. I think the big Disney promos in 2002 - 2003 were also motivated by a down turn in travel.

This is EXACTLY why they are doing it! It is a great way to entice people to the parks, and get them to stay on property and not be tempted by off site hotels.

I just hope the bookings stay low through the end of the year too (sorry Mickey!) We are booked after Tgiving and I would love to either upgrade our view at the CR or maybe head back to my beloved GF again :cloud9:

Subbing (and lurking). There is a possibility that we may go and stay offsite. But if free dining is offered... we may switch. Just did FD and it was fabulous.
