June 2009 Code Watch - Line up, it's time!

If finances work out for us.....
I am looking at June 27 to July 6. or around that.
so .... need to start now looking for discounts and codes. :goodvibes
I think I will start with AAA and/or Swan with teacher or AP discount.:thumbsup2

We are going June 5-14th. I would love to get a code.

For you crowd watchers...Gay days is scheduled the beginning of June. They usually are a specific park a day, but we went once 2 years ago during that time and it got a bit crowded. I think its 6/2-6/8 so we will be there for a few days of it.

Not sure when Stars Wars weeks are scheduled but if its the same time, it might be VERY crowded! But I'm hoping its not too bad.

Add us to the list!!!

I just got a HUGE Southwest credit for this December's trip that expires at the end of June. Since we are getting AP's in December to cover this year and next December's trip we might as well kill 2 birds with one stone and use that SW credit and the AP's for a SURPRISE bday trip for DS in June!!!

We are thinking June 9-17th at Pop....

Does anyone know if there is any chance of an AP discount in early/mid June?? (That would be icing on the cake, or perhaps even a hotel upgrade ;) )

Also, we have never gone in June... will it be crazy crowded or manageable crowded? :rotfl: We usually go the week after Tgiving (which we consider not crowded)

When would codes come out? Does anyone know when they release them for years past?

Room only AP came out on 5/7/08 and general came out on 5/8/08

There have been more Disney Visa rates this summer so it will be interesting to see if they continue.

Thinking about June. Depends on the price. Why do some think it is not a good month? I love August but my boyfriend says we should try June.

Maybe????

DH and I are tossing around a few ideas for our 10th anniversary in June. We had a Disneymoon 10 years ago, and it would be fun to relive that. We *may* even leave the kids home. Maybe.

amyy

I was going in Aug. this year and was watching in May, June to see what was available and by the postings seemed to be a lot less than 2007, this had me nervous about finding something in Aug. Calling the first AP day I found that in addition to what was available in June there was AKL, BC, POR and a few other odds and ends at deluxes. Ended up with 2 nights courtyard view WL and 1 night standard AKL (both of which got upgraded at check in). I was really happy.

There seems to be a lot of variability form year to year so with the economic situation I am hoping that next June will be better, especially if more of Kidani is open than expected and if the Tree houses become available to CRO.

Heading back in June '09 for AAU National Volleyball tourney and will be extending on after and need a code, I saw there was a May watch so I figured we'd start lining up for June. Any guesses out there to what might come out? I figure AAA will be about it & not much more.

YO

My understanding is that AAU volleyball attendees receive discounts at Disney value and moderate resorts. :wizard:

We'll be there in June also. Looking for codes for a Deluxe Resort to add on to out DVC ressie

Shellbelle,

I didn't know that. I will look into that for sure.
Thanks for the headsup.

We've made ressies for 8 days in Mid June; got an AAA discount but would love to see a better discount come out before we go!!

Grumpy3,
May I ask, what is your rate for 8 days mid June? Where are you staying, or least is it a moderate, value or deluxe? Did you do the dining plan? Did you do the whole package through AAA or room only?

Thanks, YO
