June 2009 Code Watch - Line up, it's time!

Our 1st trip w/out Our Dear Sandi
June 11-19

I booked using the Pay for 4 get 3 free deal for June 13 - 20. I got Coronado springs for 7 nights for 2 adults and 2 kids (age 17 & 14 so considered adults) and 7 day base tickets for $1904.04. Does that sound good?

Pop was $1591.28 but DH would rather stay at Coronado.

Maggie

We will be visiting WDW for the very first time on our honeymoon from June 22-29, and we're still thinking about adding an extra couple of days on :)

Maybe we will see you! My family will be at CSR from 14 - 23!

I am hoping for more codes for June 8-13 for our disneymoon! We booked the 4/3 but we cant stay that long so we got one night for free! Better than none. The 200.00 giftcard or free dining would be GREAT!

Just got a pin offer for free dining through June 27th. After running the numbers (at the cabins for 2 adults, 4 kids with 1 day tix for 7 nights) the buy 4 /get 3 free is still a better deal even after adding dining to the package. (We still have leftover tickets from a no-expiry ticket we purchased earlier - the prices were closer if you upgraded to 7 day tickets).

Honey said I have to get it down to $1500 before I can book it :confused3

Nobody knows how Disney selects whom they give their pincodes too. I would recommend registering at Disneyparks.com and also call and request a vacation planning dvd. Sign up for all of the disney newsletters (don't worry, they don't send that many). I think the more Disney lists you are on the better your chances. Also register your fiance with his address to increase your chances.

Something that I have noticed but may just be coincidence is that I have received a pin offer everytime I login to disneyworld.com and look at a vacation package, then I click 'save for later'. Nearly everytime I have done this I received a pincode within a month. As if they are trying to help me make a decisioin.

Also, I call to make ADRs and when they tell ask where I am staying I say I am staying offsite. I usually get a pincode after that too. Perhaps they know I am coming anyway and are trying to entice me to stay onsite.

Free dining may be better for you since you are only staying 5 nights, but if you are staying a week or longer the buy4/get 3 deal is better.

Like I said, it may all just be coincidence but no one knows for sure except God and Disney.

I hope that helps. Good luck and congrats on your wedding!

Whoa.... there's a free gift card code for June?????

There were three different pincodes sent out a few weeks ago for travel from January through June (with some blackout dates). The one I received was book a 5 day/5 night trip and receive a $500.00 giftcard at checkin. It is perfect for my trip because it will pay for all of our food :-)

Trying to talk Dh into trip this year!

Wanting to go May 31st-June 6th! Keeping fingers crossed for code and sweet talkin' dh! :stir:

by reading his thread, I thought that the Gift Card deal was limited (only if you got post card or something) but it was a pop up on the Disney web site.
so...... do you have to have a code / pin???

the pop-up? There is the 4/3 offer with a giftcard if you travelled in Jan-Mar. That is open to eveyone. I'm interested in the ones Mentioned here just recently.

Can you describe the offer that popped up and where it popped up?

Thx

I thought that was what everyone here WAS talking about.:confused3
Actually I started out on the AAA web site, linked to the Disney World web site, and it popped up ...... yes, it was the 4+3, but also had the info for the gift card. It didn't say you had to have the 4+3, but just that you had to reserve before Jan 24th (I think) for travel till the end of March.

Sooooooo...... the gift card is open to the public until the end of March, but after that, you have to have a code/pin?
That just seems very confusing.:confused3
