Last year, the end of June didn't come out until June 6th or 8th...so don't give up!

Explain this to me....if I book a room at the polynesian (concierge lagoon or garden view) for the end of June (if I can get it) or July, and then after the fact the AP discount comes out...I will not get any preferential treatment just because I have reservations, right? It all depends if there are any rooms available when I call with the AP discount. I am confused because often I see posts saying that they made reservations and will just convert it when and if the ap discount comes out. thanks

The AP codes are like airline discounts. They earmark a certain number of rooms in the various room categories as eligible for the AP discount. If there are AP code rooms available in your room category when you call, you can apply the code to your existing reservation. You get no preference because you already have a reservation. The codes are first come first served.

Yeah, that is what I thought. Thanks for the reply. I just called and no AP rates out yet, as you all know. But I did bite the bullet and made reservations for Polynesian Concierge lagoon view during the value season in July. There was no concierge room available (garden or lagoon) from end of June up until the time I got (July 12th), at least when I called. I am worried that it will be a really busy time.

remember that you will not have Magical Express - so you will have to rent a car or pay for transportation..

We have FINALLY decided on a resort for our rescheduled summer trip.

I kept calling to get AAA room only for AKL and we got it tonight.

It is $238.50 per night. For everyone waiting no AP codes as of tonight.

Still hoping for the AP rate.

I went ahead & did it. Buena Vista Palace/Island Suite $139 includes buffet breakfast. Also got a minivan for 3 days for $123 so we'll have it to move to BWV & drop it off at Dolphin. Tomorrow I'm cancelling my ressie at OKW for $916 + the dining plan for $480.

subscribing to this post as well. We have trips planned for June as well as August. June trip we have two nights at Hilton DTD. Would love AP at WL. Have AAA rates at CR Magic Kingdom View Tower Room. Would love an AP rate. Anyway...love two trips to Disney this summer!

I have to leave to take my kids to school by 7:30 so that is why I'm able to call so early. I'm so hoping they are out before May 9th. I have to set up a Teacher's Appreciation Day brunch early that morning but I will leave to go out to make my AP call if they haven't come out yet. I can hardly wait to explain this to the Non-Disney peopel there!
