Hey Sweet Pea (That is so funny, I just love saying that) I grew up in Delaware County and spent the first 25 years of life in and around Philly. Whereabouts are you? I was just back to the med school with my son downtown. I can't get over how much the place has changed. Debbie and I are looking forward to meeting everyone at the Promenade Lounge Saturday night. Last cruise we met all the Dissers there and ended up closing the place down. It was a blast. Can't wait. TTYL. Wes

Jefferson hospital. I pass by the liberty bell every day

I am totally looking forward to the DIS get- together Im traveling with 21 family members....It will be nice to get away from all them for a while...lol

This is getting weird now.....

Not only is there a heavy PA DIS group on this cruise, I'm wondering how much of a TJU/TJUH presence there may be as well!

I'm on the university side of the house.

Now I'm getting all weirded out. Jefferson Medical College Class of 1975 I was thrilled to take my son down there last Tuesday as he wants to be a psychiatrist and is interested in going to medical school there @ Jeffy-tech College of Medical Knowledge! What a small world! It IS a Small World Afterall...It's a Small World After--well you get my drift. I think this is shaping up to be a neat trip. Wes

The Jefferson picture sounds like a terrific idea. What do you guys do at Jeff?

As far as the grads celebration is concerned, I am open to suggestions but would offer a few of my own. If you find the stateroom rendezvous appealing we would volunteer ours 8014. then have the grads meet us there at a specified time, preferrably in the afternoon of the first day at sea, Monday. Since they will all be eighteen, I think, we could all meet at a specified time at Quiet pool. I will inquire about arranging for soft drinks and a cake. Deck 7 aft is a meeting place for teens but the people on the ship put the kebash on that several cruises ago when the meetings got to boisterous. But its a thought...

Wes, you could send the pic into the JMC Alumni magazine! Likely the only way I'll ever get in there! LOL....on the other hand, if people notice how many of us are on the cruise, HR may take a harder look at our salary and benefits packages....

I'm Senior Associate University Registrar and can stare at the Winged Ox from my almost subterranean window.

I picked up our docs yesterday from AAA. I am sooo ready to go on this cruise . We have our flights and seat assignments. Now i just have to wait. Checked out the magic at port canaveral. Can't wait to be on it.

Hi Rose, no docs yet either. I think if you go through AAA or a TA you get the docs sooner than those of us who book directly. I'll give them the rest of the week then I'll call them.

We drive all the time, too. In fact of all the trips we've made I'd bet we've flown about two or three times. The drive has become part of the vacation for us. Is that weird or what? In fact we stay at the same Hampton Inn in Savannah every time. Can't wait.

Should be able to see the Wonder this morning.

Love the Hampton Inns...have yet to have a bad experience!
