My son still had no voice but seemed to be on the road to recovery, so we headed off to MGM for the day.
We all went on Star Tours, saw the Muppets 3D movie & then after that we went to have our PS at 50s Prime Time Cafe. We enjoyed it but my son had an asthma attack while in the place, so that brought the mood a little down for us. Our service was wonderful & kept making sure my son was OK.
He had fallen asleep & we just put him in the stroller & we walked around MGM for awhile, looking in shops & such.
Once my son woke up we went on the Great Movie Ride. My son really thought it was cool. It was a nice ride. We then went on Backlot Tours, I personally did not care for that. It just was not what I expected. We also saw Disney Playhouse with Bear, Rolie & Stanely. It was a lot of fun but a word of advice ARRIVE EARLY!!!! It fills up fast. We had a fast pass for the Voyage of the Little Mermaid & that was a great show. I really recommend seeing it, especially if you have any Little Mermaid fans
We also met Lilo & Stitch which my son thought was pretty neat!
We also met a WONDERFUL castmember while at MGM. His name was Bob & he tried to talk to my son. I told him that he lost his voice & he asked if everything was OK. I told him what has been going on with him, getting sick, etc. & Bob was so sweet.
He asked if we were still having a good time & I said "yes". I told him the only downer was we had to cancel our CRT PSs since my son was so sick. He felt bad & he asked how long we will be here for. He said he will try to work some "Disney Magic" & get us into CRT for breakfast. Well, he came back & told us they are fully booked so he could not get us in.
I told him that was OK & Thank you for trying anyway. A very wonderful castmember
After spending the morning/afternoon at MGM, we had to hop over to catch the Hoop Dee Doo show. The food was just OK, but the show was wonderful.
Next day is EPCOT
