I didn't know that. This is my first time being in charge of a Disney cruise. I will try again at 75 days out for the Palo Brunch which is what I really wanted. Thanks for the tip!

Question about excursions? I booked Highlights of Monaco and Top Car Museum in Monaco as I leave in a family of car nuts. I also booked the Evening Casino for myself. However, there is only 1 hour and 15 minutes inbetween the two excursions. I website let me book it....does anyone think its just not possible to do both? I was surprised that the leaving time for the car museum wasn't until 1:00, there didn't appear to be an earlier time.

I just called DCL and they said you have to book yourself for dinner at Palo's they wouldn't let me add you. So, at the 75 day just booked Palo's for 7:00 on Monday the 18th. Let me know if that doesn't work, I really don't want to have dinner by myself! lol

I also was just told this by DCL and I really find it hard to believe but...I explained that brunch and tea was not available and asked if there was a problem with their website. She said "no" that it must be sold out. I really not sure I'm buying that. I still can't book the spa either so I'm just going to keep trying. I'll keep everyone updated if it finally works.

That seems crazy to me. I'll book also for the same day. I'll also try to get brunch/tea at the 75 day mark. I guess you can only book online right? So I'll be up at midnight on the 1st of april..good thing I don't have to go to work the next day!

Okay, I can't get brunch or tea to come up either. I am going to book dinner on the 18th and the 22nd I think. I did get all the shore excursions done and I am about to go check out the spa situation as I wanted to book a massage. Here is what I booked for excursions:

Palermo: Old City and Monreale
Naples: Amalfi Coast Drive and the Ruins of Pompeii
Olbia: Coasta Smeralda
Civitavecchia: Jumping Back Into Eternal Rome
La Spezia: Florence and Pisa
Marseille: Calanques of Cassis
Villefranche: Scenic French Riviera

I am thinking we may explore Olbia and Marseille on our own but I went ahead and booked the excursions and will decide over the next week or so.
Off to check out the Palo/spa situation!

Lauren- I know I am booking the florence and pisa and I am still deciding on jumping back or ulitmate rome. I like the train option for rome. More moving around space.

Excellent Virgil...I was getting worried that I wouldn't get to book anything. I guess we can attribute this to the lack of sea days. I have faith that silver7 will be able to book the private room for these events and we will all enjoy bruch and tea together.

If they let you book it, it should be doable. If you miss the evening, then I am sure they'll refund you as it will be their fault!
Which city was the one where the chateau d'if is located? I guess thats an on your own excursion, but I can't remember which port. Anyone know?

I made the dinner resevation for Monday the 18th at 7:00 PM. I couldn't add your name but it said for 1 or 2 adults, I'll call to confirm we're good to go.

I also could not book brunch or tea at Palo's just dinner and no spa treatments. I was thinking it was a sign to not spend so much money but since others are having a problem I guess I should go ahead and book when I can! LOL

I did not book anything in Naples, Steph are we still on for exploring on our own? Let me know.

Do you and your DMIL want to have dinner at Palo's with Steph and I? As above, I booked for Monday the 18th at 7:00 PM - it could be a ladies night out among the couples!

In case I didn't reply, yes! we are still on for "on our own" We will master the italian countryside! Hopefully.

And patricia you should join us...it'll be fun!

When everyone receives their planning dvd notice that all of the people are adults. YOu see very few kids in the background. It's all couples going to dinner or couples by the pool. It's leaving me a little worried. I wonder how we can find out how many people the ship has? Anyone know how booked our trip is?

My parents stayed up until 2:00 a.m. (cdt) to make excursion reservations last night. By 2:30 they still were not able to make reservations on line and gave up . They got up at 8:30 and still were able to reserve all the excursions that they planned on taking :

VIP Vatican & highlights of Rome
Pisa
Mt. Vesuvius Hike
La Cinta Beach
Selinunte & Marinella
Evening Casino
2 Nights at Palo

For any lurkers out there trolling for info on later cruises, this staying up all night waiting to make an excursion thing may not be worth the effort ...No promises - just our experience

You guys have been very busy Just back from a quick SB trip to WDW. Saw silver7 and family!!

I think the group Palo Brunch thing will work out.

Even at the 105 day mark when we booked, Palo tea was hard to get although brunch was available, so I believe they will have more availability later??

I am slightly confused. As far as the group brunch goes...how was that to be handled? Were we each supposed to make individual reservations and then we were going to try to combine them or something? Or was someone going to make one big group reservation?

We could not book Palo Brunch it just did not show up even at 8.a.m. our time. I know I got onto the site early as just before that it was not showing able to book anything and then at 8.a.m. it clicked over.

Cannot possibly see how it could have been all sold out by then so wonder what has happened.

When I got in at 4 am, I did the excursions first for both of our reservations. I then tried spa treatments and only 8 am or 7 pm were available for well-being massages on two of the sea days. I did get a Palo dinner reservation but the brunch option was not available.
