Any fun ideas on how to tell them that we are taking them on a cruise?

I'd vote for the call from Mickey. I've never done it before, do you get to specify the time? That way, you could arrange that y'all were together, dinner or just a get-together, so you could see the reaction.

Or do you occasionally go to Manhattan as a group? Time a visit for when the MAGIC is at the ship terminal, beg a "let's go look at it", and when they ooh and ahh at how beautiful a ship it is, say, "Oh, by the way . . . ."

I like this one. That's what we're doing to our kids...they think we're going to NYC to spend my bday weekend there...when we pull up to the ship, they will be out of their minds and then when we walk up to the Roy suite....if you hear screaming, that would be them.

But this one just worked out this way...I was supposed to be the one surprised but I ruined it by checking my cast away account. Then we realized the kids still thought they were surprising me by going to NYC so we figured why tell them anything else????

Howdy! Just booked this cruise on the 29th and was on tonight to get Palo and the spa. So, I am looking at the "Cruise Activities Overview Screen". On my sea day, it says. "Adult Dining (1)", which should be my Palo dinner, and "Spa (1)", which should be my couples massage. There doesn't appear to be any way to see detail, like the time for Palo and the actual service at the spa. I know this sounds stupid, but how do I know the right times and services are actually in the system? I did them so fast at 12 midnight that the whole experience was a blur, and I want to confirm I picked the right times.

Just keep trying - and again at the 90 day- and 75-day marks in case they release a few more slots.
I was logged in at exactly midnight, clicked on 11:00 for Brunch, and when clicked Add to Cart, got the message that that time was no longer available! Did get 11:30, which is fine.

Just went back on DCL site (1:50 PM Friday March 2), added Friday night PALO dinner at 6:30, there was also availability for 7:00 and 8:30

How are you all booking? I am silver so I have a few more days to wait!!

The Platinums and Concierge guests were able to book for the last 15 days, then today opened to Gold (our first time as Gold). Silvers open March 17. All this presupposes that we are paid in full before we try to book.

Did the same PALO resrvations - 6:30 dinner, 11:30 Brunch, will decide on a spa booking onboard.

That's great that you are surprising your kids Try to have a camera handy to capture the moment - we just pulled a surprise off for the Dream over President's week and their reaction was priceless

we surprised ours for the med in 2010 if u go to trip reports about going to mef again in 2013 i posted video. We r also on the 8/25 cruise out of ny
