June 15, 2012 - 2 Night Getaway on the Disney Magic from NYC!

Regarding the FE...I see so far it is mostly adults -- would anybody be opposed if I sign my family up with the two kids? (sorry for asking but even on Disney some people get funny with having kids around!)

Not at all!

Of course we would all love to have you and your family join the fe group. And I your two kids are the only ones to be a part of it, they are sure to be spoiled! ;)

Wait!!!! spoil the adults!!!!! the kids will be ok...I promise:lmao:

Thanks everyone for the input...I just wanted to make sure! We are going to sign up for the FE and if anyone else has kids feel free to introduce yourselves...I have a DS who will be 7 and a DD who will be 10 days out from her 9th birthday.

And Mommy & Daddy are glad that they love the kids club so we can have time for ourselves:love:

I can't see doing the FE for a 2 day cruise...don't have enough time to distribute the goodies...I don't even think we'll decorate the door this time...since I'm not supposed to know about this cruise...However, I do know about it and my kids don't and we're not inclined to tell them. We tried to pull this off for our med cruise, but I had to tell the kids in the airport leaving for Barcelona because we were getting on the plane with other disboarders and I was afraid someone would spill the beans. This time we are taking a car into NYC and they think we're spending the weekend there. They have no idea this is coming.. Can't wait.

I do the FE for even the shortest cruises - because I do my delivery late at night it is always a great time...your choice, but the list is short right now. 5 cabins!

First room with a porthole
Fourth cruise, first two were on the Magic with inside staterooms, third was on the Dream with a balcony and now the Magic again with a porthole. I have liked all the rooms so far, we will be midship this time, close to the elevators

So absolutely no one has a better DH than I do. This cruise was booked as a surprise for my bday. I found out about it when I went to check our August reservation and it was there. Then today I get a call from cruise line reservations looking for DH. She said they had been on the phone for an hour and she got dropped. Well that got me very suspicious and of course I checked the ressie again....Guess who's cruising in the Roy suite????:confused3

That would be me :cool1::cool1:

DH said it would be the only cruise that he could actually afford it, so I'm gonna have to make the most of my 40 hours there....feel free to stop by and check it out.

Wow, what a great DH you have! I toured the Roy suite on the Wonder last year. It's gorgeous! :goodvibes

it is SUCH a great space...enjoy it!

It sure is a great suite. You might not have enough time to see all of it:lmao:
We'll be sure to ring your doorbell!:thumbsup2

Now, if I could snag it (or afford it:eek:) for the yet-to-be announced WBTA . . . . . .

Ken,

I think the issue for us is that we couldn't afford it on a longer cruise...I don't know what it cost him, but I'm sure we could take a full week cruise for the family for what it did....I'm going to enjoy it fully...may never leave the whole time:woohoo:

I hear ya, Mindy -
And unless they changed things, you could order from PALO, and have it served ensuite. Enjoy!!

I know....I'm already planning on getting strawberry trifle delivered...we have ressies for Palo for dinner the first night and brunch...I don't know how much more I can eat of that...;)

some wonderful friends will be with us for this weekend getaway. It is a surprise to them, I booked everything. Any ideas on how to tell them, they are not Disney geeks, so far they have the dates of the cruise free, and know that we are going away for two nights and food is included. The confirmation letter will be mailed to me, one month before departure they will get documents from DCL. this is going to be fun.

What a great gift!!!

Any fun ideas on how to tell them that we are taking them on a cruise?
well - since they are not DisneyFreaks (Disnoids?) I guess having Mickey call them is out?
