June 15, 2012 - 2 Night Getaway on the Disney Magic from NYC!

I am starting to get the impression that Sarah will be the only child on this crusie. :sad1:

I priced it out w/the kids for July, but honestly, I'm not paying 3700 for 2 nights! My kids will still be in school in June. I priced out 5 night in July and 2 night, 2 night was the 3700 and 5 night was almost 7k!! I just cancelled a 7 night western april vacation week for 5700. No way I could justify either amount, we are a family of 5, so it's cat 4 and up or seperate rooms (which I wouldn't do my kids are 10, 4 and 2).

It'll be a nice getaway for hubby and I. Is it bad that I was hoping it didn't sell that well adn they offered Travel agents discounts... then my kiddos would go.

Even with the outrageous prices for the staterooms, I'm wondering if DCL is going to make as much money on this particular sailing as on others. Many staterooms will only have 2 adults as passengers. Also, almost all passengers, even those who are flying, will have access to purchase alcohol prior to the cruise and bring it onboard. And if you're trip is less than 48 hours, you might not want to allocate time to play Bingo. :confused3

I'm hoping for a TA discount too but no luck so far!

Me too. Would love to see the discount come through!!

any new additions to the Fish Extender list?
PM me with:

Dis Name
Real Name
cabin
who is sailing with you
any restrictions such as allergies etc

please put the cruise name in the subject line, I am managing 3 FE lists at the same time and it gets a little wild trying to figure out where folks belong.

I will post a new link to the google doc on Thursday

This gonna be soooo much fun. Plus another Disney trip to plan, OMG... we have so much on our plate over the next year.....
I must admit I have a little guilt of not booking the kids, but I'm sure I will get over it.
Anyone else cruising without kids????

Actually, for this cruise the question to ask, "Is anyone cruising with kids?" :confused3 So far only a few families with kids going on the cruise have posted on this cruise meet group.
