Still can't find anyone going on this cruise. :( :sad2:

I went to a bridal shower today and one of the guests said her neighbor was going on one of the Calif cruises. He lives in my city, so she is going to let me know which one and maybe it will be mine! Then I will have finally found someone. Although not from these boards. (ummmm...maybe I could tell him about these boards!)

I'm sure others are going. They're just shy. The cruise is almost sold out for 6/11-6/18.

I started a thread for this cruise about 3 months ago. Not sure what happened to it... maybe it was cancelled for lack of interest - I had the same type of response as you are.... No one on this cruise seems to be interested in the boards.

We are going on this cruise! I am so excited, I have never been on a cruise before. We have two kids who will be 4 and 8 by then. My inlaws are coming too... Mom&Dad inlaw, spoiled grown brother inlaw, and newly married but already in counceling sister inlaw with her hubby. Hope it all works out! I figure we can all find things to do with and away from each other better than when we travel together to places like Hawaii and end up in the same or ajoining condos!

I have questions for an experienced Disney cruiser...about bringing beverages on board...could we get away with a soft sided cooler with both sodas and beer? Will anyone search our luggage and find our stash of rum or wine? just looking to save a bit of $$ in this area while on the ship!

Yay...Monstro and Stinasmom! We finally have a small group. Well, Stinasmom has a small group all on her own! It's just me, my DH, and DS (He will be 21 by then). First cruise here too.

How many in your group Monstro? I remember you had started a thread and then I couldn't locate it. Glad we got something going again. Maybe some others will eventually find us, but they probably won't be the regulars I read about on here all the time. Love their trip reports and pictures.!

Hey...I just found Monstro's thread! Weird...it was gone for so long!

Our group/party will consist of me, dw, dd 17, dd 12, dd 10, Disney Grandma and Grandpa (from California). Disney Aunt and Uncle (also from California) with two ds's will also be joining us - But I'll let them tell their story.

Disney friends from Georgia who we meet every year for a cruise (except this year - thank you Francis) will be on board as well. They have three DD's and are expecting one more - still a mystery if it's ds or dd??? :D They will have Dis grandma and grandpa with them as well.

Single Dad will be traveling with my DD (17) and DS (15) on my fourth and their 5th Disney cruise (Had to let the x have one, it was part of the settlement, I have a Vacation Club Membership). Used to live in Riverside, CA and now in Alabama. Best Vacations we have ever had, haven't gotten tired of it so far. We look forward to meeting new people and having a good time.

Yay! Someone else is finally on our cruise Monstro! Welcome bfayne! :wave2: :bounce:

I know there is other people out there as well.

My kids are getting excited - especially since we had to cancel last years cruise:(

They we're talking about it today. So I thought I'd get on and see what's up...

DW an I are going to get away in January - thinking a lot about doing the three day Bhama cruise.

Hi all,
We are a family of 4 sailing on the June 11th Magic. This is our 3 DCL cruise. DH 46, DS 14.5, DD 10.5 & myself 45. My DS is especially concerned that there won't be a soul his age or gender, on this boat! Anyone else coming with a young teenage son?

Thanks,
Tami

I see that Bfayne has a 15 DS so maybe he can hang out with him!

My husband and I will be on the 6/11 west coast cruise. I was on the Christmas cruise in '04 with my parents and brother.

I discovered this website when I typed in some searches on Yahoo about the 5/28 inaugural cruise. This website has been very helpful with some of my other questions about the cruise, too.

I had to join when I saw PPPiglet's posting about the 6/11/05 cruise. We're going, too, and this is our first Disney cruise (Went on NCL in 2000 to Alaska.) PPPiglet's Piglet head caught my attention because my son (7) has a big stuffed Piglet pillow he has owned for 4 yrs. and is very attached to!! (Gets strange looks in airports!!)

We live in Northern CA and will be flying down on Friday and staying overnight in San Pedro so we can get an early start on getting to the port! Our hotel even has a free shuttle over to the port, too!

Well, I've got to get back to laundry and packing!! Thanks again for all the great info!! :earsgirl:

Stitchensherie...welcome! I don't know if you found the above posting site, but that's the current one with everyone that's on our cruise. (if you have time to catch up reading before you go!) Otherwise we are meeting at 3:15 in the Promenade Lounge if you can meet us all there that would be great! Also for anyone that can't make that we are meeting up at the sailaway deck10 by the goofy pool on the dock side of the ship. See you there!
