:thumbsup2 My family and I have our "green" outfits READY to wear on cruise day!
My DH, DS and I have green shirts and I have green/white capri's or a skirt that I will wear.
I tried on my outfit yesterday and now I"m even more excited to get on board the Magic!
Still have to look for our passports... I put them in a "safe" place...
so safe, that even I can't find them! :lmao:

You are all in better shape then me with your outfits. I don't even know what I am taking. I have to first get through baseball and Senior day (that is going to be hard. I have the klennex ready). Then graduatioin! In between that I will find time to get ready.:goodvibes

I do know I won't have a green shirt. Tha twould not look good on me. May be white. Sandy, you are good with a skirt. I have not had that or a dress on about 8 years if not more.:)

Take care everyone.

:cool1: Last night, while digging thru a box that was stuffed in the corner of the bedroom, I found our passports! :cool1:

They are now in my travel bag, so I guess I've officially started packing! :rotfl:

Just 53 days til we board! :dance3:

Flo...
I don't particularily like green, I'm more of a red/pink girl myself, and I'm pretty sure green is not a great color on me either, but I do like to wear it on boarding day as it makes it easier to be spotted by our DIS friends. And as far as wearing a dress goes, I rarely wear them as I work with kids, and need to be up, down and under things all day long so I tend to wear pants or shorts EVERYday. :cutie:

Sandy,
I don't even know how to decorate a shirt or for that matter find a lime green one here. When I find out what I want to were I will let everyone know..

I have to say that this is the quietest bunch of cruisers ever! Are we all veterans with no questions? LOL! Even the vets can't really be experts at this itinerary! Anyone trying to figure out what to wear? I am not sure how thrilled I am to be in Mexico instead of the Carribean. I LOVE the Carribean! I hope I am not disappointed!

kcarl021... My family is actually veterans of this cruise... we were actually on the first DCL cruise out of LA in 2005. And since it was the FIRST time that Disney had been out to the West Coast, it was an awesome send off. There was so much excitement from everyone. The restaurants and shops at the port had flyers and banners and signs everywhere and there were lots of media and sightseers there just to see the Magic pull IN in the morning and then pull out in the afternoon. There were hundreds of boats escorting us out to sea when we left and lots of people cheering and waving and TONS of people wearing DISer green and holding up signs. It was a great send off. I hope I wont' be too disappointed this time, but I don't expect it to be the same since we are not the first cruise out... we will actually be the second cruise out. But regardless of the send off, I'm just happy to be on the ship. And while I do love the Caribbean, and Castaway Cay, I'm just happy to be on the Magic again...
And the best part is that I don't have to fly to get to it.
Just 51 days until we board!

I can't believe all of the stuff going on with the airlines! I sure hope that none of our flights are affected!!!

:headache:  I am SO sorry, what I meant to post was:

I hope you are NOT booked with American Airlines or Delta.... geez... see what typing too fast does? :rotfl:

We are leving on United the Saturday (out of Ohare)before in the morning

We are booked with SWA. I hope they do ok, who knows? MY trip coming up I think is on Delta. I guess they have 2 weeks to get things together! My one in late June is also SWA but we have one leg that is Continental. At this point, who knows who is safe?

Has anyone heard of any of the recent cruisers having troubles?

Are they doing anything new this year on board with shows or anything? I am sooo sick of the same shows! I've seen Golden Mickey's, Disney Dreams, all of it. I would like to see something new!

Good Morning Everyone....

I had a fantastic weekend... so I'm sharing pictures

My DH, DB, and DSIL started work on replacing our fence,

there was lots of noise and dust flying around so DD and I packed up my DGD and we went to LA
for the Baby Celebration Exhibit at the LA Convention Center.
Our DIS friend Huerita had a "green" exhibit there....

DGD Lily had a great time playing in the Gymboree area.

I took Huerita's DGD home with us and we just happened to stop off at Downtown Disney on the way home...
I"m ashamed to say, that I didn't take any pictures, but I did buy a Goofy pen for my friend Flo. :thumbsup2

Wow! Looks like a great weekend for sure! Awesome photos!

Our weekend was cold and we even got some snow flurries. That is so strange for the middle of April! I got out of home improvement mode and need to get motivated to get back into it. I started painting and I have a ton more to do but when we had our nice weekend last weekend I decided to spend the time outside and now... well I need to finish the rest!

I got a letter today from DCL just going over the acceptable forms of ID, etc. But I did fid this odd... they added that all guests must board the ship by 4pm and that we leave the port at 4:15, but... the drill is at 3:00. So how can you do the drill at 3pm if you don't have to be on board until 4pm????

Won't affect me - I will be there as soon as humanly possible!

10 days until we are in NYC! I hope it warms up a tad!

Wow, that is strange... It has to be a typo don't you think?

We got ours today to. The first thing my DH said to me was that the safty drill was before we sailed. I agree it has to be a typo.

kcarl021: You are right about the weather! We have more baseball games that are rescheduled this year then he had in the past 3 years. THey are playing on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday this week and next week. What I don't like is that they have to miss school to travel.

Sandy: Thank YOU!:worship: You are the best!;)

Those pictures are great. The two little angles sleeping in the car. Lily is getting so big. That was a smart thing to leave the boys at home and go out.

take care
