Just had my MRI....

That's the good news...
The bad news is that I still dont' know anything
which in a way is probably not bad news either...

I have an appointment on Monday to get the results...
so hopefully I'll find something out then.

I agree with you! It is not bad news not to hear any thing. I think if it was something they would have done some thing right away. Not wait till Monday.

At least you don't have to wait to long till you go to the Doctor.

Just checking in.... How is everyone?....

I'm home alone... (not really, but it feels like it)...
my DD Brandy and DGD Lily have gone to Disneyland to do the "shopping ride" withOUT me!..
She asked me to come, but I don't have an electric wheelchair and she can't push me and the stroller at the same time,
so I opted to stay home... waaaaaaa

But looking on the bright side....I'll be well rested for tomorrow...
I'm having a scrapbooking weekend at my house!...
My DH has rented 2 8 foot long tables and I've invited several of my scrapper friends and a couple of newbies that have NEVER scrapped before. Its going to be so much fun to do nothing except just scrap for 2 days in my own house.

Who wants to come on over and join us?!

I do I do! But I am not sure DH would understand me coming all that way for a day! That sounds like fun a scrapbooking party. Let us know how it went.

I will be with you that you had to stay home. Lily i so lucky that she gets to go so much. I would be like you and your DD if I lived that close. Go all the time.

Our first day scrapping went very well. We started out at 7:30 AM with Starbucks coffee compliments of one of the moms and we scrapped until lunch... (Mickey D's)
We had fun talking and scrapping. There were a few kids present so we kept watching Disney DVD's all day long. Everyone had someplace to go tonight, so we stopped at 7pm. We will resume tomorrow at 9am. I managed to finished a couple of pages,..

AND... My DD and DGD went BACK to Disneyland again tonight!... This time they are staying for the fireworks and do more shopping rides INSIDE the park. Last night they only went to Downtown Disney... so tonight they are going in to get noodles at the Pizza Port and Churros and Hot Chocolate. It is a cool 65* at the park tonight.

Looks like fun! Love Lily’s scrapbook.
It is 3:00AM here. I am up because we are having some bad weather. It sounds like a little hale, rain and gusty winds, thunder lighting, the whole 9 years. My dog hates this weather. A cool 65 at night. I like that. We did not go below 70 last night. It has been another hot week here. It was in the high 80’s yesterday. Today it is supposed to be 90.
Thanks for posting the pictures. Love the glass in the door.

My MRI reading was yesterday....

The doctor said he could not believe all the damage I had done to my knee....
he asked me again... "What DID you do?"...

I have 5 things wrong with my knee... I can't remember all of them, but the ones I do remember were TORN ACL and RIPPED MCL and BRUISED Miniscus not sure of the spelling but it looks like it sounds right... and there were other problems... posterior something and lateral something else. He refered me to Orthopedics. Sooooooooo... now I'm waiting for that appointment...

The cool thing is... well, I don't know how cool it is actually, but I have to look on a bright side of everythng so here it is... he signed a form for me to have a PERMANENT Disabled Parking Placard!

I've been hearing from people that know people that I'll probably need a knee replacement!...
but I"m not bummed or anything. I'm all for bionics!
Heck, grew up with the 6 Million Dollar Man, Bionic Woman and Superman is my hero.
So anything that makes you run faster or jump higher is for me.

I have my Ortho appointment for Aug 29th so I'll find out what's up and what will be the next step toward my taking a step!

I'm not really in any pain, unless I accidently twist myself or step on my foot... and I am in good spirits, thou my family keeps asking me if I am OK. They are worried that I'll get depressed or something, but really, I am fine as I know that I can be fixed. I have never been one to shun "improvements".

Plus, I'm lucky that I have a "sit down" hobby and tons of stuff for it.

AND on the upside... I'm not doing any cooking, cleaning, dishes or either!

Hello!
It is like monsoon season here. We started to venture out to IKEA and the streets were flooding. So guess what we decided to come home. Did not want to take the chance and go out.

They all look so nice. The thing that I find strange is that we got a stove with a broiler but it does not come with the pan. You have to buy it seperate.
