(ok, locals talking, please ignore......) ;)

We're there!!!!!
I'm not far from you actually, we're in Avalon Park. We just bought an investment property near you; are you familar with the new Levitt and Son's Turtle Creek community? It's on Narcoosee Rd. near 192.

Jennifer

My farm is on Fells Cove Lake near Boggy Creek and Narcoosee.

Hi neighbor. Have you opted for Disney Yet?

We are still debating. I am leaning towards Disney, but that 500 sq. foot suite sure sounds good!

Right now, the odds about 75% Disney, 25% Royal Carribean.

decisions, decisions.......

Well if you decide yes maybe we can all get together and compare notes. Might be some other dissers in CF or some visiting that are on a Med cruise. Do a BBQ at my small hobby farm in the spring. fishing, swimming, boating, go-kart, ATV etc...

Sounds great! Boy, I bet your property just doubled in value within the past 6 months! (Med school, VA hospital, and now Burnham Institute)
Your area is the place to be!

Good except for the traffic. We are pleased with the recent news.

Coming up on our third anniversary here. Three years, four hurricanes, four goats and 12 bunnies later...

Here is a couple pics of my back yard..

Are many Dissers from Central Florida? Maybe we can have a BBQ at my Farm in the Lake Nona/Narcoosee area.

Or maybe a Pre Med WDW trip is possible.

Hi!! Plan ahead so ppl far away like us (from Puerto Rico) could make arrangements. But would be cool to meet everyone before the cruise.

Are you planning to go to another place before or after the cruise?

Since we are still debating which cruise to go on, we got tickets to cover both. We will arrive in the 31st of May and leave June 18th.
DCL's is 6th-16th, while RCCL is 9th-16th)
So we will either be spending a lot of time in Spain, or just a few days! Either way, we will have a great time.

We were able to use frequent flyer miles for all 4 of us, so we got a stinky intineary, but hey, it's free!!!!
We are waitlisted for a better route, so hopefully we will get on that flight. Delta told me we have a pretty good chance since we booked so early.

Well? Maybe spring break time. Have to check when the kids are out of school. We have 24 acres so we can accommodate a crowd no problem.

Be a good time to combine a Disney World trip and a cruise meet. Even if only a handful of families could make it we would gladly make the effort.

Our over there plans are not settled but I am a fan of the America's Cup Sailing Race and it will be underway just down the coast from Barcelona.

If I can sell the wife I want to make a 1 or 2 day trip down to see it. Other than that we are leaning toward a stop over in England.

Hi everyone!

We are on page 4 so I thought I better bump us up :teeth:

Has anyone looked into hotels yet? Is everyone doing Disney transfers or finding your own way to the port?

Jennifer

Hi!! We are leaving the same day we arrive to Barcelona to Paris, to visit Disneyland Paris (06/03 - 06/06). The day we arrive from the cruise not yet decided if we are going to stay in Barcelona or go to Madrid for the night.

Kissimmee, lets just keep in touch in this threa'd!! We would be very happy to fly during spring break. We don't have kids, so would be good at any time. We just preffer near the weekend so we don't have to take vacations. Think about Holy week please.

Wife and I are all booked. Just wanted to post so that we can stay informed. :woohoo:

Welcome!!!!
Hopefully we can get this board more active now that we are slowlng getting closer to the sailing! :goodvibes

Can't wait to meet all of you, we're on the June 6th as well. Are you guys booking your own air or going through DCL?

I'm so glad someone found the thread. I have looked for it but didn't see it.

We will most likely arrive monday morning and tour barcelona tuesday. I know I was told we could board the ship and tour once checked in but it is our fisrt trip to any of the places so an extra day and a half will be nice.

What should we *not* miss on the boat as far as shows and events go? will they be doing anything special since it is in the med do you think?

what dining did you all select? It is just me and my husband and we figured we would want as much time as possible on some of the tours so we picked the second seating.

I am so excited to go on my first cruise!!! and a disney cruise to boot!!!!

What types of state rooms have you all selected?

sorry for so many questions but we booked this week and I have been on :cloud9: ever since.

Hello!

I was looking for the thread, too and couldn't find it :confused3

We have 2 cat. 9's booked. #'s 2002, 2004.
(way forward, but they were the only ones next to each other...)

Don't miss Disney Dreams. I thought it was better than any Disney show I've seen; even at WDW.

I didn't think Palo was worth the extra $$$. It was good, but thought the dining room was just as good and it saved us the 20 bucks.

You can order room service for free. Take advantage of it. Every morning we ordered coffee, bagels, and cheese trays so we didn't have to rush to breakfast. (we are not big breakfast eaters. Coffee and bagels suit us just fine...) Plus, at night we would order milk and cookies for a late night snack.

We got better flights, but we still have a 6 hour layover in Newwark. At least we fly straight to Barcelona instead of landing in Madrid and having to find our own way to Barcelona...

Jennifer

my dh and I have booked our flights arriving on the 4th and departing on the 16th. :cool1:

because we have the cat 12 guarentee we won't know what we get until close to sailing time. I think we will be happy to be on the boat, so any upgrade is just icing.

i'm up in the air about palo... :confused3 i mean wouldn't it be better to get Real Italian food in Italy? The other thing is with as late as out ship leaves every day I am afraid we'll miss out on the ship experience because we will be t port all day. :cheer2: Do you think it will be ease it get on and off if we are in a port that we are not as interested in?
:dumbo:
Does anyone know why we stayed docked in nice/monte carlo so late?

 so i thought i would bump us up.

if anyone on here wants that pdf of the excursions and I haven't emailed it to you just pm me. :cool1:

I have gone through most of the excursions and i must say i am a bit upset that we are so far from florence  and that the tours don't seem to encompass what i think we would want to see there.

so how many of us dis-ers will be on this cruise... :cool1:

I figured I'd bump this and see if we can get an idea....:wizard:
