JUN 06 2007 Magic - 10 day Mediterranean ( READ INFO POST # 1 )

Well, it looks like there are only a few of us left. We leave in the morning at 1100 for our flight to Barcelona (via a few other places). The good news is we have a day and a half before we have to be on the ship. Just finished up most of the packing, although there are a couple of things still drying. I don't think I have a thing left in the closet. INSANITY. Oh well. At least I won't have to carry it but so far. Can't wait to see you all.

mheywood14 - we're still here with you - the board is quiet now ! We don't leave until wed 5am !! I am starting to panic slightly as we can't board til Sicily if it all goes wrong !! We arrive BCN lunch time - so 8 hours to play with if it all goes wrong ! Have a safe journey .

I promised we would be home first ..... and we are !!!

It was truly 'Magical' and our best Disney cruise ever .... made all the more special by our Dis boards group - we had a blast !!!

More will follow as the rest of the gang arrive home ( did you ever make it pjtulsa !!! ) but just wanted to check in . Hope those cruisin this time around have as much fun as we had .

Now when exactly are the 'stalkers ' cruisin again

We made it home! Our luggage, however, decided to stay on for awhile in London British Airways didn't get our bags on the connecting flight to SF. Oh well...we're home safe and sound

We had a wonderful cruise! Max was SO sad to leave the cruise and Oceaneer's Club and is already begging us to take him on another Disney cruise. (Although Nico is still afraid of Flounders...we just say the word and he cries ) My husband is ready to go back too! So, it looks like we may be doing Mexican Riviera in 2008!

It's was great to meet everyone on the cruise. I hope everyone had as great a time as we did and got back home safe and sound.

1PM Iowa time. Couldn't have asked for a better first cruise. Hopefully we can all do it again someday.

Well we just got home a bit ago, after stopping to get our starbucks!!! i sure missed my green tea latte's, but i would gladly give them up for good if i could just stay on the boat!!! dont know about anyone else, but i had a great time on this cruise, loved every minute of it!! We ended it all with a wild and crazy tour of Paris last night before catching our flight back to Houston today!! Anyway, there is just so much stuff swirling around in my head, i think it might take a while before it all actually makes sense. It was really great meeting all of you from the board, and for those who joined in our excursions, it was fun!!!

Hope everyone makes it home ok!! Saw several of the boarders in the airport in BCN, having some troubles getting out. Hope you guys all get home sooner than later...

Mark posted the last note. And I Colette am posting this one. We had a GREAT time for our 1st every boating-crusing time(anyboat company). the DIS was very helpful for us. And the "stockers" made the trip even better.THANK-YOU all. WE tryed to sign up for another. But the lady must have forgot who we are. But will keep trying. Sure miss everyone and the boat. We'd do that trip again. But make more time for flying to and back...so tired!!! hope to here from you all soon.

Thanks for the lovely gifts - still can't make anyone eat those lollies Aquaholics but more kids in the UK have looked at them than you can believe !!

It was a nice extra touch coming back to find gifts - and good planning having a delivery rota . Thanks again to Paula for organising the fabulous 'private' room in Paolo . It was all so special .

Well, it was 11AM EST on Monday before Maggie and I got back to the house. We spent Saturday in Barcelona and traveled out to Montserrat. Our flight left on Sunday morning at 620 (415 at the airport is damn early). We flew out of the way to Vienna, changed planes and then it was off to DC. However, I would do it all again to fly with a European airlines. I have always been a LUFTHANSA fan, but I will say that Austrian Air gives them a run for their money (even though LUFTHANSA has a controlling interest in the company). We had a CHEF on the plane to prepare the meals. AMAZING. So, upon our arrival into DC, we had a scheduled wait, which turned into an unscheduled wait. We finally made it to Charlotte, NC, where we had to spend the night because we missed the last connection to our hometown. Needless to say, we were thoroughly exhausted by the time we got in yesterday. The nice news...because of the problems getting to Charlotte, and then to our hotel....we ended up getting paid $100 to fly to Europe. THANKS!! Back to work tomorrow...and at some point...a trip report. Hope all are doing well!

Hi all!!!!!!

We are home also! Got stuck in Philadelphia overnight after our plane in Barcelona was stuck on the runway for 2 hours and we missed our connecting flight to St. Louis. That was basically the only glitch in the trip, so I'd say we were pretty lucky! This trip has been such a blast...a dream come true really!!! Thanks for all the gifts, my 2 boys enjoyed them all. I want to post a trip report sometime soon, when I get around to it.

Hi All:

Great trip and great to meet all of you on line stalkers (I think it was my DD Mallory who named us such). We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and 2 weeks off was REALLY nice!

Two nights in Barcelona were OK. After the ship - nothing would compare! Hotel Ramblas left a little bit to be desired

We arrived at Phildelphia Monday about 4:00PM (10 PM med time). Back to work today. US Air and SpanAir actually kept our luggage together and didn't break our olive oil!

Be sure to read Sharolyn's trip report on the other board.

Collette - did you all miss a flight or just stay in Minneapolis since you didn't get home till Sunday?

Is anyone else going on the Panama Canal cruise in 2008? We are booked for the return east bound cruise.

Anyone else need help with excursions, just send me a PM. I am sure we will be on the boards less than before.
