Jumping, Dancing & Jamming Our Way Through Walt Disney World! I'm With the Band Now!

Lisa, the pictures of the wedding/reception are absolutely beautiful. Lacey looked so calm (I was a wreck on my wedding day). And I agree with GrammyJudy, you are too young to be the Mother of the Bride!

I LOVE the pictures. Looks like the wedding went wonderfully (of course!).

The decorations look like they fit perfectly with everything else in the wedding. And that ring bearer pillow is a wonderful tribute to your deceased brother-in-law.

With the exception of Ms. Bossy Pants being a you-know-what and John getting sick, the wedding went off without a hitch and we thought it was beautiful.

GREAT PHOTOS. I love your dress Lisa and you are too young to be mother of the bride!

Thank you! If I could reach through the screen and kiss you, I would! You know me, I am a bargain hunter and the dress was originally over $80 but I got it on sale for less than $50 tax and all.

Thanks Kathy. Lacey was as calm as a cucumber as was I once I knew the decorations were all done. You're such a sweetheart for saying I was too young to be a Mother of the Bride. Somedays, I feel like a teenager and other's a senior citizen.:lmao:

I love all of the photos from the wedding! Lacey looked so beautiful! The reception area came out amazing! I don't think I could ever do all the decorating. I am not creative enough. I am very impressed with the bird houses! I think I made a jewelry box out of Popsicle sticks once.....maybe, my girl scout troop leader probably helped. Again everything looked so amazing!

Such a beautiful ceremony. I noticed that if you turned Lacey's bouquet sideways, you would have a Hidden Mickey. Yeah, I'm a dork!

Hi Lisa! I made it over, but I see I have a lot of catching up to do! Congratultions to Lacey! It looks like it was a wonderful day!

Hey! I'm so glad to have you. You didn't miss too much Disney stuff because we made a trip to Tennessee and to Georgia that I report on.

I'll be sure to pass along the congrats to Lacey.

You are so not a dork! I'm going back to look and see if I see it.

Thanks you so much! We worked out behinds off getting everything ready and we were extremely pleased with how everything turned out.

Hey, there's nothing wrong with a jewelry box made out of popsicle sticks!

The pictures are so lovely! I think Lacey looks beautiful. Her dress is perfect! Everything looks fabulous!

What a lovely wedding! Lacey was really beautiful, and so were you. :)

I love how everything is so simply elegant. You see so many weddings these days that look like star weddings and must cost a fortune and a half, it's nice to see normal people have a normal wedding. It's not about the bling anyway, it's about the love. And this wedding seemed to be filled with love. :bride::lovestruc

I don't know if I mentioned it already, but it's too bad that you were not featured in the video, and you had every right to be upset and cry about it.

I love how everything turned out. Seeing all the stuff you did to get the wedding ready just blows my mind. Fixing all the bags of sunflower seeds would have done me in......:lmao:. I love your idea of the preacher standing where he did; the pictures during the wedding should be of the bride and grooms face, not their backs.

Love all the pictures. What a busy weekend. I' amazed all the stuff you were al lable to get done in such a short time.
I have to ask, what is a grooms cake? I have never heard of that before.
I hope the next reception went off without a hitch as well.

Catching up!

First, I'm so sorry about the video! That videographer should have figured out who you guys were and included you. You are a huge part of the wedding day--and their lives!

Laurence: They are next on the upgrade list, and all we have been told is they will be complete by the end of 2012. We have not been given a time frame on when the changeover will start as of yet.

Interesting! During our Agent Education Program 2 weeks ago, our instructor said CBR hadn't yet decided if they were going for the Queens or not. Perhaps this has changed VERY recently! Or someone has incorrect info. Let's hope they are upgrading!!!

Beautiful pictures!!!!

Lacey's looks stunning!!!! What a beautiful bride! I loved all the pictures - the decorations were fantastic and so unique-I love it! What a wonderful day--congratulations again to you and to the happy couple! :goodvibes

Where did they go on their honeymoon? You have probably already said, but I cannot recall. I love the idea of the one person giving them a Visa gift card for a fancy dinner, those are usually very far and few between when you are newly married! :thumbsup2

I forgot to comment on the jeep. That is hilarious! Must've been a lot of guys doing the decorating.

Man oh man have I missed a lot. The wedding looks to have been a great time. Lacey looked very calm and happy as she should.:bride: I have to agree the video person really should have done some "homework" and found out who the parents of the bride were.:confused3 I'm looking forward to more of your trip report. Our trip is at the 90 day mark before we go and I need a Disney fix.:)

Wow I got left in the dust!

About your online chat, I sure hope they come out with a May-June discount soon too. We will be checking in either June 2nd or 3rd but the rates were so high for 2012 I need to wait for a room discount!

All of the flower arrangements and decorations were so pretty you all did a great job! The cake was beautiful too. Your baby girl made the prettiest bride.

I'm so sorry you didn't get in the wedding video. Who doesn't ask who the brides parents are when they are making a wedding video:confused3 That would have really upset me too.

I'm glad John got better and it wasn't any worse then it was.

Oh yeah I almost forgot did you get the pm I sent you?

The video is great, it is a little disappointing that your not in it.

The decorations are beautiful. You'll did a great job!!

Oh, Lisa, it was just beautiful. You did SO MUCH WORK on the decorations and all, and it was really pretty. :cheer2: Lacey was so beautiful and she DID look serene - I really love that dress. And the mother of the bride looked so pretty herself! :goodvibes Your pictures were great, as always. I love the yellow ties for the guys to match the yellow bridesmaids dresses and the sunflowers. Thank goodness things settled down a little, John felt better, and you got there on time WITH the jewelry! And that wedding cake was so unique and pretty, and the groom's cake looked great also.

How was the second reception? Now that it is all over we need for you to get back to your Disney trip report!

Good morning! I hope that you all had a wonderful Labor Day holiday.

We spent the day working in the garden. I had hoped to get my pumpkins planted a month or so ago but didn't do it until yesterday because of all of the wedding preparations. Oh well, looks like we'll have Christmas pumpkins instead of Thanksgiving pumpkins. :rotfl: Yesterday evening, we sat out on the back porch while I grilled chicken and sausage for the family. It was a nice day!

Friday afternoon and evening, I made more backsacks and I hope to get pictures of those up within the next couple of days. I still have a couple more that I want to get done before posting pictures.

Saturday, I took a few things back that we didn't use at either of the receptions. So far, I've taken back a little less than $100 worth of stuff. I still have to take back two packages of Velcro but have to find it first. I know it's in the "junk" box that we stuffed all the bits and pieces of stuff into when we were packing up.

I also did a bit of shopping at the mall on Saturday. Is it bad that I constantly have Disney vacation clothes on the mind? I bought two nice tops, an Izod shirt and two pair of dress shorts off a clearance rack and my total was just $38.00. I went into Hollister and bought Hunter a hoodie and four of their t-shirts for $43.00. Just the hoodie, at regular price, would have been $50 so I got a great deal there. I also popped into Icings and bought four necklaces and a pair of earrings for $11.00. It was a nice shopping trip.

I am going to be uploading the Louisiana reception pictures some time today. My boss is going to be speaking at the Opening of Court this afternoon so I know I'll have a bit of time to do some extracurricular activities while he is gone. ;) As I said before, I am anxious to get back to talking about Disney.
