Jumper Cables - can I bring them on a flight?

I want to bring an air mattress on our next trip to WDW. There will only be three people in our room, but one of us (ok - me :earboy2: ) is a very "active" sleeper so sharing a bed with my sister will be difficult. I have a great air-mattress that folds small, and weighs very little. I use it on driving trips all the time.

Problem is, it is meant to be inflated through a car lighter. So I have a small jumper cable set up that I can plug into a wall outlet, and then attach the red and black cables to the car lighter piece. It works like a charm.

Question is, can I pack these two things (air mattress with a motor and a set of jumper cables) and check them onto an airplane?

I can only tell you that we did bring our Aerobed on flight to and from Bahamas. It was no problem (it had a motor too).

Sorry, can't help with the jumper cables, but I would suggest packing them in your checked baggage. The mattress motor plus jumper cables, etc. may bring attention to you that you probably don't want in an airport these days.

Good luck!
