July Weight Loss Challenge

As of today I'm 4.4/10 for the month!
 
Add another pound for me! So, I am 5/7
 
My weight loss for the 2nd week of July is .7 pounds, so my total for July is 3.1 pounds. Hopefully, I will make my 7 pound goal.
 
Well, I lost 1# this week. So now I'm only +2.:sad2:

ok girls -- this is my question -- do you all think stress plays a big role in whether or not your body will shed some pounds? i honestly have been doing fairly well, never perfect but pretty darn good and i'm not losing. I won't bore you with TMI---we'll just say i'm parenting a teenage girl :teeth: for the first time i have a tire around my middle this year, i never have really carried weight there and i know it's the more dangerous kind of poundage. i just wondered if this is a stress-tire?



Yes, absolutely stress plays a big role. Dr. Oz said you can tell how much stress a person is under by the size of their waist! When we are under stress are bodies produce cortisol and that contributes to a larger belly/waist.

We just have to work EXTRA hard to lose it!
 
Ok today is the big weigh in. I have been working so hard watching what I eat exercising when I can. Got on the scale and I gained weight :scared1: and not just a little but 5 pounds!! I guess it could be water weight?!?

So I am feeling depressed and not motivaited...

Don't give up! I'll bet if you really try again this week, you will lose that 5 pounds and maybe even a little more. Come on.....YOU CAN DO IT!
 
Sorry I'm running a bit behind (haven't updated in a week). But I have everything up to this point.

Thanks I really needed that!! I did exercises today and I feel a little better. Here's hoping I lose some weight!!

Hidy ho everyone! Today is my official weigh-in day. I knew I lost weight but I didn't think I'd lost as much as I did. After getting on & off the scale about 4times, I can confirm that I'm down 9.1 pounds. I cannot believe it.

For the month, I'm at 9.1 / 10. I have a little ways to go for me to meet goal. Woohoo! Yeehaw! :cool1:

Everyone else is doing a wonderful job! Keep up the good work! You can do it! :cheer2: :banana: :thumbsup2

My goal is to lose 10 pounds by the end of July. I weigh in on Saturdays, rejoined Weight Watchers the week before last. So far for the month I lost 3.2 pounds:woohoo: .

WI day. No more weight loss this month, but I'll keep at it. So I'm still 2/4.
 
I lost the 2 I gained last week and lost 2 more, making loss this week at 4lbs.

So I'm now 2/10.
 
Had my weekly weigh-in today, I'm down another 1 1/2 pounds :) So that's 5/6 so far for my July weight loss challenge. :banana:
