I ordered a fitbit last weekend and finally got around to collect it from the post office today. I hope it will motivate me to keep more active! Today it worked well, but all the walking around was planned anyway.
strenght training and a trail bike ride. the bike ride was great until it started to down pour 4 miles from home. It wouldn't have been so bad except that I wear glasses and water kept accumulating on the inside of my lenses. I could barely see, made for a wild ride, but at least it was a break from the heat.
Cleaned out the MIL garage in 90+ degree weather for 3 hours last week in addition to my 30 minutes walking nearly every day (I skipped Friday, holiday)
Did a 5K this morning and some extra walking at the end.
I am really surprised how much better I am doing now that I have a run/walk rhythm my knee can handle. I want to increase my running time but my knees aren't having it.
my new friend, the fitbit, tells me that I have not done nearly enough walking today, so I might head out for a walk in the evening once it is a little cooler.
nothing for me yesterday, today was a walk with the husband after dinner. Poor guy has lost a few toenails after his triathalon but he finished - which was pretty awesome.
