Update as of Saturday- 1030/1500. I will be hitting the gym again on Monday which will put me over 1100 for the month..not bad, and more than I did last month. My goal was a little too ambitious. I think I will shoot for 1200 in August. This thread definitely keeps me motivated when I'm doing cardio, though!
OK, gotta love those Long Walk Saturdays during an exercise challenge! With warm up, cool down and stretches, I got 120 minutes done. I am now at 1150/1200!
Been behind in posting but I'm up to 875/900 for the month, I should make it after tomorrow, I've got a 60 minute class tomorrow. I've been very slack the last week and a half, the pool keeps closing for swim meets and my classes keep getting canceled.
I got a good hour of exercise in today by going to the park. It was pretty easy to do since we walked around the lake, sweated in 90+ degree weather (which is actually the coolest it's been outside here in weeks!), and chased a persistant toddler who kept running after the ducks!
That brings my total up to 810/800! I am hoping to get a workout in tomorrow too but I don't know if I will or not since dh is having surgery tomorrow morning. I am glad I managed to meet my goal this month though since I wasn't sure if I would or not! This has inspired me to try even harder next month! Thanks for hosting this month's challenge!
I just did and early morning walk and added 40 minutes. So at 1175/1200. 25 minutes in the pool this afternoon should do it for me. Willl check in later
