July Exercise Challenge - Let's Beat the Summer Heat - 35 challengers so far!

Hi, everyone!

I walked a 5K yesterday - and finished a minute faster than the one I tried to run in April. Yay for walking!

I also started in a walking group - looks like a fun and laidback crowd. I'm excited about the structure, too. We walked about 25 minutes tonight.

With the 5K and walking group, along with power walking my pup and lifting my little weights, I'm up to 650/2000.

I'm pooped! Before 9 AM today I had: gone to a stretching class at the Y, walked 3 miles, swam 20 minutes. The swimming is what did me in! :worship: to all of you who swim!

I am at 839/1900, that includes a couple of walks since I last checked in.

Time to finish the paper and get busy with life around here!

Just finished up my first game if kickball tonight!! It's was 2- 45 minute games, but I'm only gonna count an hour of it all. That puts my total minutes at:

230/800

Yay!
 
No workout yesterday, got sick after I taught a class, but I will count my steps.

Today - 45 mins kettle bell workout and 45 mins elliptical

I'm going to say 55 today. 45 on the treadmill and about 10 minutes for abs.

Big day for me...hour Strong class, an hour on the treadmill, and an hour Werq class. I want to drop another pound by Friday's weigh-in (BL thread) so I'm really focusing on exercising and burning those calories.

Brings me to 1080/1680.

Now I am totally ready to crash for the evening. I'm enjoying my new favorite meal...my gym calls it a "Nutty Professor". It is light chocolate soy milk, vanilla protein powder, ice, a heaping TBSP of peanut butter, and half a frozen banana. Delish!! :drinking1
