July/August opening hours

Does anyone know why Magic Kingdom closes at 10 pm most nights on July and August? Hoping to spend more time at the parks after the new fireworks but we don't get EMH the evenings as there is one before our arrival and the day we depart. I know that it's very far, but is it possible they change the hours to a later night? It surprises me they close it at 10 pm.

They will change the hours for sure, they always do but it could be anything from a month to a week beforehand. We are still waiting on June hours being changed...dont worry they will be later, just hang in there
