Hi All,

Long time no speak been busy with work and all the rest ..... :rotfl:

Just starting to think about next years holiday to FLORIDA :cool1:
When will I start to see prices for Mid July / August 2014, I have been given a few prices so far from travel agents but prefer to book it all myself... ??

:)

We've booked for 5th July 2014 for three weeks via Travel City from Glasgow. £5,484 for flights only, three adults and three children with three weeks full Platinum Insurance. Have booked first week at Caribean Beach Resort and still to book a villa offsite for the next two weeks. I like booking flights well in advance. :cool1:

Sometimes it's cheaper that way, but last year we found the Virgin holidays package cheapest (I know, a minor miracle!).

It's more fun doing it DIY IMO - that's how we planned this year :)

Flights are released 330 days in advance so by mid September you will have prices for August.

Hotels will be available now.

We always DIY too :)

Cheers..

We have always booked DIY and always been cheaper, but the packages at the moment for next year were looking very good... ill just leave it a while before we jump and book anything unless I come across a silly price...

We have booked for Old Key West for early August 2014 throough Disney, and with booking tickets as well have free DDP for our 12 nights, plus a $200 gift card. Planning a couple of days before Disney at Universal.

Think the offer with the $200 gift card expires 1st July, but have also heard that free DDP will be offered beyond this date, but possibly with a smaller value card.

Will be awaiting the release of (decent priced) flights around beginning of September, and are hopeful of a bargain as for our last two visits flight prices came in at £400 (Jul/Aug 2010, LHR-MIA direct with AA) and £500 (Jul/Aug 2012, MAN-CDG-MCO on AF).

Anybody booked flights for Mid July / August 2014 yet ???

Got some prices this weekend coming up between £2200 / £2300 for 2 adults and DD 9..
What you all think good ???

We've gone twice with Virgin and twice with First Choice (now Thomson) First choice has worked out cheaper and for next year its looking the best deal again.

Tony

We're booked for next year (DIY)

We go on 7th Aug for 22 nights, booked the flights with flythomascook and booked the villa off here. Paid £3500 for 4 flights, me DH, DD (14) & DS (12)

Not got car yet though :(

I looked at Aer Lingus yesterday with the option of going from Birmingham or Bristol via Dublin. The prices were not bad so might consider them when we go.

I only looked at this as Wayne and Karen have just flown out with them:thumbsup2

I don't know why but Aer Lingus always comes up insanely expensive for me. I've even tried shifting my dates and searching all airports for departures and they are second only to VA in price
