Lori...Prayers and pixie dust coming your way!!! :wizard: How scary that must have been for you and your family!!! Be sure and take it easy like the doctor said...and don't worry about 20 more pounds. Your kids want you here...they don't care what you look like! ;)

Lori - sorry to hear you've been sick. Sending some pixie dust to make you feel better. :wizard:

As for favorite ride, I can't name just one. I would say CA Screamin' and TOT at DCA and Pirates of the Caribbean and Big Thunder Mountain at DL.

Lori -- my thoughts and prayers are with you!! And I am sending lots of pixie Dust.!!

Lori--sending pixie dust your way. Take it easy! Keep us updated on how you are feeling.

Kim--I just read your posts so I am going to Land's End right now. My only concern is that we are going on the Jungle Expedition and I don't want to take too much with us. However, there is a place for us to swim so we do need towels, etc. I think it's a 45 minute walk (each way?) and that's a long walk in the hot weather to take a huge bag. But, that's what husbands are for, right? I'll go to your link right now and take a peek. Thanks for your help.

Karen

I just re-read your post. No wonder I couldn't find it, you said LL Bean and I was still thinking Land's End. Thanks again!

Karen

Karen...too funny!!!! :rotfl: I am always getting the two confused also...can never remember where I saw which thing. I'm looking at some water shoes that I saw on the land's end website right now. Better quality than the ones I've gotten in the past. I have some for the kids already, but the ones DH and I have gotten in the past are really flimsy and slip off our feet in the water, so I'm looking into something better. I definitely don't want to be barefoot in Mexico!

Hey all,

Lori, I was a little alarmed to hear your story. I sure hope you take it easy and that you feel better soon.

Ummm, favorite ride? Space mountain, for sure. I hope it gets put back into operation soon.

Oh, and regarding the question from yesterday about cabin entry times: on our cruise last October, they let us in at just before 3PM. Considering how regimented the ship turn-around process must be, I have to imagine it doesn't vary much from voyage to voyage, so I'm assuming it'll be around that time again. Of course, your luggage will arrive when it arrives, and sometimes not all at the same time. So make sure you have whatever you need to get you around until at least 5PM, I would say.

Gee look what happens when one gets sick.... Well, for the short story, I passed out at Brandon's school on Monday. I was of course taken to the hospital and have since been diagnosed with a Basal Migraine. They cause dizziness and faintness of course, and of course I"m still faint and dizzy so please excuse all typos in this post. I might have to cancel Randi's but I'm taking a wait and see approach to that. The neurologist wants me to really take it easy for a while and of course trips to the gym aren't included in my course of treatments. Of course LOTS of steroids are, so I'm thinking the 20 lbs I wanted to lose will be there with 20 more friends!!!! OH well, at least I'm alive right!!!! You don't follow these bords for 5 days, and look, 5 pages of posts to work through. I think the shirts are a GREAT idea, but right now I'm having problems focusing in the keyboard so I can't really think about it right now. Well, I'm off for now and prayers and pixie dust for a quick recovery would be welcomed!!!!

Sorry so sick. God wanted you to deal with this now before the cruise and not on the cruise. Now you can go on the cruise with your condition under control, feeling better and can truly enjoy yourself.

My favorite ride is the tram back to the parking structure. As much as I love the attractions, there is nothing like that feeling on the tram as you ride back to your car, everyone half asleep, completely spent and totally satisfied. :cloud9:

I am holding in my hand three lime green cruise shirts, a mug, a journal, amouse pad and magnets. I can't believe how fast they came-I just ordered on tuesday. They look great and are nice heavy shirts. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Boy that was fast. I ordered mine tuesday too(late so it probably counted as Wed) but had them sent to my mom's. I got the email yesterday that they had shipped them. I can hardly wait to see them!

WOW!!! That was fast shipping! I guess I should expect mine early next week...I think I ordered on Thursday. Can't wait to see them! I'm in this really excited shopping mode right now...so excited about the cruise!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Just ordered my shirts!

At this rate, we are definitely going to hit the 90 page mark before my predicted day of 5/28. My new guess is 5/18 and I think we'll hit 120 pages by 7/9.

Lori- pixie dust :wizard: , hugs :grouphug: , prayers! Feel better soon!

For those of you, oh so fortunate ones, who have already received your shirts: are they pretty true to size? Someone said the XL are huge. Can't wait to see them. :bounce: Of course, getting the shirts will make it that much harder to wait for July.

(FYI: I got Cassie's and Timmy's water shoes at our local surf shop instead of Land's End. They were cheaper and I liked that I could try them on first.)

:Pinkbounc I'm ready  I'm ready :cheer2: I'm ready :bounce:

I find it better to reply by quote as it fills the pages faster.

I don't know how to answer that question of size. I ordered a XX and it seems fine. Chrisitne and Quinton ordered med & they seem to be just what they expected. they don't appear to run too large or too small.

Who is next to receivve the shirts?

I got an e-mail from the company telling me they shipped my shirts Friday...should be any day now! :Pinkbounc

I found a really cute pair of lime green flip flops with sparkly things on them at Target today!!! They should go great with the new shirts!

Kim :flower:

Kim,
Are the flip flops the really flat ones or do they have some support? did you get them at the Rancho Target? I'll have to take a look. If they are really flat, I can't do them. I am also in the shopping mode, running out of places to hide the new clothes from DH until the cruise. he won't notice then!
