We are tossing around several different ideas as well, but I'm definitely going to include something that represents our state! We are from West Virginia and you wouldn't believe how many people we encounter while traveling that don't know that WV is in fact a state!!! They'll say, "Oh, ok! You're from the western part of Virginia!" And I'm like, no, West Virginia...you know, the state!!! They always get this confused look on their faces!!! Lol

So, we thought it would be neat to share some things from our state with you guys!!! My daughter is doing some other things as well! She has some pretty good ideas of her own!!!

We are so excited to see what everyone else comes up with!!! Hopefully, more people will join in on the fun as the cruise date gets closer!!!

I have absolutely no idea of what I would bring from Iowa. But I love the idea of bringing an item from your state. We have the same problem about our state. People think that we either grow potatoes or we only live on farms.

I was really hoping that more people would be interested in participating! Do you think the ship is that empty or people just aren't interested??? I've seen cruises later than ours with tons of people participating!!! Maybe they just haven't signed up yet!?!

The ship is definitely not empty; most of the rooms are already booked. I think either people believe that the cruise is just too far away to start thinking about it, they are unaware of this fantastic opprotunity in meeting others and spreading happiness with simple gifts, or they might not want to participate.

The boards usually show between 15-30 people usually doing the FE's. I made enough FE gifts for 47 staterooms but I also think that there will be much less than 47 staterooms participating so I will give the remainder out to cast members on the ship to spread a little joy!

I am in Japan at the moment so I am looking out for cute Disney items to add to our Fish Extenders. They love Disney here and have a lot of great things I am trying not to go nuts and buy them all.

You're probably right about people thinking that the cruise is still too far away, but we can't wait to share our gifts with others and see what others have come up with!!! It's just so exciting!!!

I am VERY jealous that you're in Japan right now!!! How exciting!!! My daughter and I visit Disney World quite often and one of our favorite places in Epcot is the Japanese pavilion. We love shopping for different Japanese candy and tea to bring home with us! We could look around in that shop all day!!! We are going to the parks for a few days after the cruise and I've already decided that I'm finally going to buy myself one of the beautiful Japanese teapots that they sell there. I've been admiring them for years and I've decided that I simply MUST have one, especially since I'll probably never get the opportunity to actually visit the country!!! Lol

My daughter is very excited about your items from Australia!!! She loves traveling and learning about all of the different places in the world!!! She is looking forward to hearing your Australian accent as well!!! Don't worry...we'll share our southern accents with you, too!!! Lol

I think most of us, the few there are in this thread, will be the first time on a Disney Cruise. Will you be participating in the FE exchange?

If so, please look back at the previous pages in the thread for the info requested so we can give you some FE gifts!!!

My daughter and I will be cruising for the first time and first time on Disney as well. We are very excited.....unfortunately, we check in at the end of April online since we are newbies!!! I hope they still have plenty of choices for various activities to include excursions!!!!

Last year was our first Disney cruise and it was so good we thought heck why not do it again.

We cruised the same cruise/week last year and some of the really cool stuff was booked up by our booking time. The only excursion we did was the land and sea tour at Nassau(the one with the semi sub). It was pretty cool just wish the tour would have been a bit shorter.

We are hoping this year to maybe luck into a Cabana on CC, they were all sold out last year.

You guys will love it. My wife and I travel avidly both domestically and abroad and last years cruise was arguably our second favorite vacation, right behind Scotland.

Speaking of the Cabana's on CC; do you remember what the cost is to use one for the day? Do they allow children in the area that has Cabana's? What are the benefits?

Since you have went on a Disney Cruise maybe you can share some information about them?

I am hoping this will be a vacation my daughter and I will never forget!!!
