July 5th Dream

Does anyone want to share our Atlantis reservation for July 9? We have a room booked for 4, which entitles you to use all Atlantis stuff, but there are only two of us. We have room for 1A and 1C.

It looks like half the reservation will be about $190 give or take a few dollars depending on tax. If you're interested, we're looking for someone who will go over to the hotel as soon as we disembark to get our room keys and wristbands so that we can get to the slides as close to the 10:00 opening as possible. Please p.m.

When I looked at the itinerary online, It looks like we will be in Nassau on Friday, 7/8/11. I noticed because my birthday is also on the 8th. We will be in Castaway Cay on the 9th.

We were thinking about going to WDW, but the prices are so crazy!

Any suggestions?

I know the prices are ridiculous, but we are booked at the Grand Floridian arriving on 7/2/11. We'll do MK on the 3rd, and Epcot on the 4th. Since the MK does the big fireworks show on both nights, we decided to head to the larger park on the 4th in hopes of more manageable crowd control. We did get a slight discount on the room (10%) from AAA. If WDW is too pricey, why not try the Kennedy Space Center? We did that tour back in '06, and it wasn't too expensive. It took few hours though because its such a huge complex. Or why not rent a timeshare in Orlando/Kissimmee. It's a lot cheaper than WDW onsite resorts, and with more space. If you want that onsite feeling, try renting from Bonnet Creek near Epcot, or from a DVC owner.

i think you need to check the date, I too believe we are in Nassau on the 8th not the 9th.

Hello! We are completely new to any type of cruising. We are coming for my parents 50th. So its them, my DH and I. Our kids are DS 7, DD 5, and DS 3. We are hoping to get upgraded to a larger room. Does anyone know the best way to do that?
Also I think we would be interested in the FE group.

Welcome aboard! So glad you'll be cruising with us! Go to the FE thread for our cruise and sign up - it should be a lot of fun! Here's a little pixie dust for an upgrade...not sure what else can help except to check at the terminal when you check in to see if any are available. Good luck! See you in July!

the best way to get upgraded is to book thru a disney approved travel agent
and let them get you shipboard credit and an upgrade i use smallworld and have good results others may reco someone else

We use Small World Vacations too - have for all 3 cruises! Would definately recommend them!
