July 5, 2011 - Mickey's WONDERful Alaskan Adventure

wow 11 weeks..seems like time is flying now.

dad just called me today wanting to know how much cash he needed to take, what he needed to pack and all kinds of info. i think hes ready for this trip now :thumbsup2 so getting my head back into vacation mode now. told him to give me a week to get everything together as i have all the info i just need to get it organized and confirmed and he will have all the info and then some.

hope everyone has a good easter tomorrow. my daughter is driving me nuts with wanting to put carrots out for the easter bunny tonite and hoping he brings her this and that and also trying to talk me into getting her a nintendo ds if the easter bunny doesnt bring her one. :rotfl2: like she didn't get enough for her birthday earlier this month :worship:
 
Went to the outlet mall today and got new hiking boots and waterproof jackets. I think we are now ready. Just need to work on a packing list. Trying to keep things as light as possible.

I just made our final reservation for the hotel stay on the coming home side so all reservations are done and now its jsut getting things paid for and packing.. woohoo. anyone have a decent packing list? i have no clue what to expect for alasaka weather and my plans are to pack only one suitcase per person :worship:

My answers:

Disneyland - The Original Tiki Room (with Indiana Jones a close second)

California Adventure - Soarin'

Magic Kingdom (WDW) - Pirates of the Caribbean

EPCOT - Illuminations (ok so it isn't a ride or attraction but it is still my favorite). :)

Hollywood Studios - Toy Story Mania

Animal Kingdom - Safari

this will be the 1st time im doing anything Disney. My wife is a big fan of Disney. Im getting real excited for this trip.
