Do both!:)

Watch Magic Kingdom's from the TTC(awesome view of the "Mirror Fireworks" and the 360 degree fireworks).

Then immediately hop on the Epcot Monorail and book it on over for RoE/The Heartbeat Of Freedom(otherwise known as World War 3!)!

Great fun!:)

I'm planning to do MK on July 3 and mixed between something hometown or trying out this new Hollywood Studios july 4th show.... (hometown is just outside property so I may hope for the best at doing both)

Got this from **************.net so I'm not sure where they got it from as I haven't seen an official posting from WDW yet (and last year they announced it on June 29) so I'm hoping for monday to find out..

On Sunday, July 3, 2016, the Magic Kingdom has a special fireworks show “Fantasy in the Sky” at 9p.

On Monday, July 4, 2016

  • The Magic Kingdom has the same show at the same time–“Fantasy in the Sky” at 9p
  • Epcot’s Illuminations has a special holiday ending added, and is shifted from its normal 9p time to 10p, and
  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios will likely have a special 4th of July fireworks presentation (currently not scheduled) at 10.15p

Thanks for the responses guys, much appreciated. Given the feedback I think I'm gonna head to Epcot and check out the Illuminations special on the 4th. The wife leaves early on the morning of the 4th so don't think we'll be at MK for Wishes on the night of the 3rd.

Hollywood Studios will have a live DJ and might actually be the least crowded of the parks though...I still have a few days to decide :)

DISNEY'S HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS

July 4th, 2015

5:45 pm - A DJ will take the stage and keep the party going until fireworks time.
10:15 pm - "Rockin' 4th of July Celebration" - Fireworks with a rock n' roll soundtrack

Oh man, Celebration is also having a Sci-Fi themed event on the 4th, costume contest and all!!! This would of course be outside of the parks but that might not be a bad thing

Celebration Town Center’s World Famous 4th of July event joins forces with MegaCon to bring the second annual “A Sci-Fi 4th of July” to Central Florida.

Celebration Town Center’s “A Sci-Fi 4th of July” will feature a movie themed costume contest at 7:30 PM, so come dressed as your favorite character for a chance to win big prizes. It will also feature a synchronized fireworks spectacular set to a Sci-Fi themed soundtrack, bounce houses for kids, live music by Oliver’s Queen, Jordyn Kane, DJ Tami, Gina Marie Incandela and an unforgettable tribute to our Veterans. So, get ready to dance the night away in a one of a kind, family-friendly event with a fireworks show you will be talking about for years.

There will be something for people of all ages as Town Center’s KidZone will feature an assortment of inflatable games for kids and teens that will include a jousting area, bounce houses, face painting and more.

Additional music will be offered by The Dixieland Jazz Band. This unique group, made up of former members of the “Rosie O’Grady’s Good Time Band” will offer patriotic music for the whole family to enjoy. Sponsored in part by Melia Suites Hotel, The Celebration Town Tavern, Celebration Sanitation, Axis Magazine, The Orlando Sentinel and Sam Adams,, this event will be “the can’t miss place to be” this July 4th.

Parking and Admission are FREE!!!!

Free Park and Ride Shuttle will be available from 215 Celebration Place. Come early, stay late, and have fun at this year’s “A Sci-Fi 4th of July”.
