July 4th Flying??

I was wondering if anyone can tell me if July 4th is a busy flying day. We are considering flying back on that date and wonder if the day before or after may be a better idea. Thanks for the help from your Canadian neighbor.

We flew July 4 to Orlando from NYC last year we had no problems, I didn't think it was esp. busy. You should be fine.

The actual holidays tend to be good for travel. We flew to California on December 26 (2005) and returned on January 1 (2006). Both flights were pretty empty, and we got good airfare for our trip.
