Hey there MrsMac,
We are from the U.S. (North Carolina). My girls aren't exactly twins although they act like it a lot of the timeJillian is Chinese and Sarah is Kazakh. It would be great to get them all together somehow. Jillian makes friends very easily and is very social, Sarah is more reserved,. She loves to play and have lots of fun, she just isn't the first in line.
Yep we are getting really very excited about the trip!

My 5 year old will no doubt love playing with your girls. Glad to see there are some younger ones too - there are quite a lot of 8 - 12's I think but now it seems a good few of the younger age too.

We are from NC as well. Just outside of Raleigh.
Hi,
Long time lurker, have cruised on Disney before and other lines. My DW, DD's (10) and (10) and I will be on the D2B cruise. Would love to meet other folks with kids the same age to give the girls some new friends to hang with (1 is shy, 1 is social). We have a late dinner seating.
Thanks
Jlat
Hi there,
Our DD Niamh is 9 and although usually social can be shy in situations where she doesn't know anyone. Am hoping she meets some nice friends on the cruise. We have late seating too.

There are NO category 7 inside rooms. All cat 7 rooms have a balcony--some have the "Navigator's verandah," some have a partial obstruction to the view (I've sailed in those, they are nice!).
Maybe you mean that they are on DECK 7 in an inside room...which could be a cat 10 or a cat 11.
And...to the other poster...yes, they can downgrade you after you get an upgrade. It doesn't happen often, but it does happen. If they can get someone to pay for your room, they'll happily take the money and bump you. If you booked gty, you can be moved up to the time you check in at the terminal. If you were upgraded, you can go down to what you originally booked.

not long![]()
I just got my cruise docs today!! Looked inside to see if there was a cabin upgrade, but it showed the cabin we booked (Cat 9)![]()
We are travelling with another family member who booked GTY Cat 12, so I went on line to check her cabin and saw that are Cat 9 is now a Cat 6 and our Cat 12 is not Cat 11!!!
So hopefully lots of upgrades for everyone!
Mel my 5 year old twins will be big playmates for your eldest daughter, and like yours, mine know nothing about their holiday! Nor does my eldest daughter age 10!! Its such a whopping great secret to keep and I am nearly getting soooo excited I may have to share it!
MrsMac
You have done so well to keep it a secret this long, do try and keep it for just the last few weeks. Imagine how excited they will be!
Do we have a Dis meet planned so these girls can all get to meet early on in the cruise?!
I know there was talk of one many pages back but was anything agreed?

Suddenly with room assignments etc... it is all seeming very close to cruising time. I might get DH to get the suitcases down and put them in one of the spare rooms so I can start moving things in there properly for the trip. I like to do a leisurely pre trip packing routine which involves adding things that have been bought specially or which I know we won't need before hand so that we can get the stuff in the right place before proper packing commences!
DD's still don't know about the trip, hopefully they won't go into the packing room but I will have a cover story ready, at only age 5 the oldest is still pretty easy to fool with an elaborate cover story and the 2 year old just doesn't have the concept of going on holiday!
As I am ferrying DH to and from the pub tonight so he can watch the England match with his friend and still have a drink I am hoping to earn some brownie points and leave the kids with him on Saturday while I go on a solo shopping trip to look for some of the things we still need to get. I am being good and not buying too much new stuff as a lot of the things from last summer will still do just fine
Wow, just six weeks - I am a teeny tiny bit excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
