July 30, 2010 Mickey's Adventures England to Espana Cruise

If anyone is looking for a Secret Porthole room, one is showing up today, and you can do the changes on line. I was able to get one for another cruise that I have booked.

I guess people are changing plans.

I did emailed and it was gone....

I wonder who got it???:confused3

I would like to saying GOOD LUCK for anyone who will be booking on Monday for 2011...

Sadly, we won't book anything because we already booked with RCCI....

Maybe we find something when we will be on this Cruise...

If the rates for the Mexican Riveria are reasonable I may book that for March 2011, but I think I will wait for another year for Alaska.

Supposedly you should be able to book around 10/29, but how much & how long all remain in doubt I have had waitlist in for a certain holiday week but as I will not be a gold member until after our summer cruise I doubt that I will sail in 2011!:sad2:

We are not gold too as this cruise will be our 4th... we wait and see what announcement on 10/29. first... then decide what to do.... (my dream is on new ship for 3 or 4 days before go on RCCI) wonder how much it will be cost:scared1::laughing:

We are also going to wait until the annoucements on Oct. 29th about the Dream before making any decisions. My husband and I have enjoyed visiting Alaska twice on fishing/backpacking trips. I was disappointed that the Wonder will not be visiting Glacier Bay. We stayed there for several days in the Lodge and loved it. "Nature" in her finest!

I hope the 29th brings exciting news about the Dream.:cheer2:

All I seem to do is look at airfare. Anyone looking for cheap airfare Iceland Air has some amazing deals all flights would make a stop over in Iceland, but they are short connections and they also have flights out of Barcelona so you are able to do multi city flights for the return. I think they fly from a couple cities in the States, like Boston and Seattle, plus Toronto and Halifax. From what I read about the airport it is really easy to make the connections and it would break the flight up into 2, 4 hours flights instead of 8 hours. For me and 2 kids from Toronto it would be less than $2400 CAD and everything else is about $1500 more. You can also add free stopovers if you wanted to spend some time there which would be tempting if I could take more time off.

The only thing holding me back from booking this is the flight out of Barcelona on Saturday leaves at 11:00 PM and gets into Iceland 4 hours later and I cannot see my kids being is good shape after a 3 or 4 hour sleep, so I think my search will continue.

I have also read the British Airways starting Oct 7 is going to start charging for seat selection on International flights, and I am sure all the other airlines will add this fee.

We have already booked with British Airway's & they currently will not let you choose seats unless you have paid full fare or are one of their upper leval club member's.:headache:

I would gladly pay to choose my seat in October :3dglassesas there are 6 of us & the alternative is to wait untill 3 days prior for a family!:sad2:

I saw on tv teletext that British Airway will charge you 10 pounds for booking seat??

I like BA but it need two flights home from Barcelona as it was cheaper than Flyglobespan but we want one way straight home...

We flow to Australia with BA which was very good...

Always more money for booking seat etc nowaday:sad2:

The trip is real now, I found a seat sale and booked my flights:banana:

Air Canada has a great sale for anyone looking.

We are flying July 27 and leaving Barcelona on Aug 8.

Yeah!:) Good for you!
Its funny when you start booking flights and hotels it all suddenly becomes so much nearer! Are you spending a few days in London or heading straight for Dover??
We want to go to NewYork and Washington next year aswell as this cruise. Having discussed finances and timing, what orriginally was going to be a trip at Easter is now more likely to be October! I am glad though.... more planning for this trip!
Flights are looking good over here now so we're just waiting for pay day again! I am going to let DH pick the hotel in Barcelona this time. We had a noisy room the first night last time so despite moving and the hotel being well situated and clean etc. DH wants to choose this time! :rotfl: It'll take him till next july to make a discission!

well done on a good flight deal!
