When's the first day, Robert? I thought I noticed it's overlapping with Christmas this year . . .

The first night is the 21st! I think that is why Izzie grabbed it on the Non-St Andrew Count down calander!:goodvibes :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

:cloud9:

Ok, Broadway Expert.........what is the "must see" show this winter?

Well, more things are closing than opening:sad2: :sad2: :sad2: I took my youngest two to see "13" and am taking them again, they were so taken with it. I saw "Equus" and "Speed the Plow" and a few off-Broadway plays, "Farragut North" and "A Prayer for my Enemy" which were good . . . have tickets to take the girls to "Shrek" but don't know what to expect for that one . . . also have tickets for "Billy Elliott" . . . "Hair" (which was fabulous for Shakespeare in the Park this summer and has some actual people I know in it) opens on B'way in early Feb . . . "In the Heights" I saw a long time ago but it was good . . .what are you in the mood for??????

Well, I'm not sure.......probably Billy Elliot first and then maybe In the Heights......I guess Hair would be fun, too? I'm trying to maybe plan a mini-trip to NYC over Winter Break at this point......maybe some of us could meet for lunch?

Sounds good! When is your winter break? Around President's day?

No, I'm thinking between Christmas and New Years.....my oldest is in Brooklyn right now, so I'd like to go up and see her place again and do something in the city while we're there.......:cool1:

well...ms. mndisfans..don't feel bad..darn if i was aware of all the
things..that were going on. as for the adult pool..times, i never
had a bad experience.

..the funny thing...i felt toward...my situation... they all happened
on the 13th day..of the cruise.... ..started when my ordered "my
omlet"...[ double cheese, well..on the first day...it..was anemic,
when it came to double cheese..so...i had "it" set up...what i
meant by...double cheese ], soooo while..my wife...was trying to
be nice..., ..then @ lunch..the milk "i" received was spoilt ,
...later the sound..went out...@ one of the moivies. half-way
thru...* but disney gave..out these really :cool2: flashlights.

*oh..it may sounded silly, about the cheese..& omlets..but "eating"
..is one of my favorite hobbies, popcorn::

so overall..i have been surprised..hearing about some of the other
"not -so-" magical encounters.

..some of the neater stuff we experienced?...we had great severs,
& the advised..."asked for fresh eggs...when making your omlets,
:thumbsup2

...i thought..the lil'brunch...with the disney princesses/characters
..were really special..for the kids! did anyone get a "clear" picture
@ the end?...[ i had to rely on my wife's camera-

but as this cruise get closer, we hope to tweak our plans. has anyone
here..been to disneyland paris? that's a must do for us...& one of the
main reason..this cruise was our first desire! [ is it a 2 dayer or can
be done..in a single day? & what are the "don't miss? do we need
to speak french?..ha! ..i kno..how the french " " english,:lmao: ]

...& just the "ports"...alone, has us thrill, beyond..words...pixiedust:

and maybe, just maybe..if we're lucky...rjayl...will organize ..a "b"-ball

tournment ...around the pool? or a diving contest....and hoot-ers

..cheerleading, :cheer2: , presents, " when you wish upon a star"?

..as for entertainment..i don't kno per say, but if i was an "offical"
disney agent...i'll think they could get some of the best....stars
from years passed...like tommy james, tommy roe?, chad & jermy?,
....& since it's getting near..christmas, how about.."tiny tim"..noo
not that the one from scrodge.....instead..the one tipping thru
...mom's tulips, with his ukulele :scared1: ? psst , remember him?

wonder if ever got his hair cut?

..just a reminder, rjayl?..if you see a santa....."clause"..card..you
might..want..to pick it up, rjayl~:santa:

why, ol'e why...me & disney are good match? ha! we're both
greedy-misers~:rotfl:

You don't need to speak French to be at DLRP, Lil grumpy . . . everything is in English as well and the cast members all speak it as well . . . of course being able to greet and thank in French is greatly appreciated. What we liked about it was both the familiarity and the novelty of is -- some things were so much like WDW, but then others were so different. Phantom Manor is my favorite HM, Space Mountain shoots you off like a rocket and has an inversion, etc. In the Studios park, Crush's Coaster is entirely unlike anything I've ridden anywhere else.

Andrew is an expert on the parks, and has been many times, so I know if you ask him privately he can give you lots of info . . .:thumbsup2

It helps when we were on BTM we were first in line & the cast member was going to put us in row's 2 & 3, but my Daughter who speaks french fluently caught him & boy did he look embarassed! We ended up in rows 1 & 2!:cool1:
