July 30, 2010 Mickey's Adventures England to Espana Cruise

Goodmorning, it is Friday again:cool1: I am still trying to get caught up at work from my week off last month, I am hoping to be caught up by March :lmao: I sometimes think it is too much work to take time off, but that thouhgt does not last too long.

Kids only have 2 more weeks of school then they are off for Christmas.

Still no more excursions released, I hope they come out soon. Is anyone going to work on magnets, I keep thinking I should figure out how people do them but I have not gotten past that, maybe this weekend.

Hope eveyone has a good weekend, I think it is going to snow here soon.

Lisa

Good Morning,

We keep checking also for more information on the excursions. I hope they release the adventures soon. We are heading to Cocoa Beach this afternoon to drop our dog off with my Mom. My husband and I fly out of Orlando tomorrow morning to the Virgin Islands. We will be visiting St. Thomas, St. John, and British Tortola. Plans for scuba diving, snorkeling, hiking, and boating. Sure hope the weather is good...

Everyone have a great week and I will ATTEMPT to post some pictures when I return.

Hi Deborah --

Yes, the tree came on last Wednesday -- I didn't go to see it since it was a cold miserable rain at the time and I don't have the access to inside seats as I did back in the day when my husband worked in Rock Center:sad2:

I was at the Macy's parade on Thanksgiving and have been enjoying lots more of what NYC offers this time of year.

I'm so glad you had a good time!:cheer2:

Hi Julie

Yes, we had a great times...

I saw a lovely tree in Rockfeller and we were near Times Square to watched the Macy's Parade on Thanksgiving as it was usual for us that we never see how huge...

After that we went to Empire State then went to Rockfeller to showed the ladies then had a coffee with cakes and watch the ice skates then went to Top of the Rock... As it was best because we went up at 4.00 pm and catch the sunset then got darker... we watched Empire State colourful...That we never forget it...

Ladies said they felt that we were lucky to had a good weather and everything went well apart from my organiser meals at Ben & Jack at 5th Avenue as we realised it was far too expensive and we end up order soup that was all... but we looked back we all laughed now because that times we had only water, bread then soup... Wines prices was over 80 to 100 dollars to start :scared1: we passed the drink menu around and see their faces:headache::rolleyes1 I feel bad for let them down but they thought it was so funny:headache::rolleyes1 I only had one fishcake and that cost me 23 dollars:scared1: oh dear I was not happy on that times and I couldn't look at waiter's face plus two ladies couldn't stop giggles....

I have lots of nice photos and will show it on later...

It is always sad to come back from vacation, do you have any other trips planned before summer?

It is cold and snowy today here, at least it makes it feel more like Christmas.

Lisa

Just perusing the Christmas TV guide for the UK. Have noticed that on Sat 19 December there is a Time Team special on Dover Castle at 8pm. Its looking at English Heritages restoration project there. Will watch and pss on anything of interest!

Meanwhile wishing everyone Happy Holidays

Aye, but it is Xmas:santa:, and today is sad day as I lost my mum 30 years ago, I cannot believe 30 years today as she died of ovaries cancer (silent killer)...She was 45 years old... I bought a brunch of roses yesterday and put it in livingroom. I missed her so much... oh well that is life and glad that kids keep me busy, busy...

Yesterday, I stayed home until I went to work last night and the weather was very foggy as I have not see like that for a long time... and very cold nowaday.. I wonder if we get the snowing soon?? as it would be nice for Xmas:santa: Day:yay:

Have a nice Day...

That must have been so hard for you, as you must have been very young:grouphug: Sometimes you wonder why terrible things happen, but I guess it is to teach us not to take things for granted, and be grateful for what you have (but that is so hard to do)

What you say about kids keeping you busy is so true.

We love Strictly but will be turning over quick to watch X factor. I'm not bothered which boy wins as both are good. Stacey's a bit too much like the last 2 winners for my liking!

My thoughts are with you too at this sad time. Take care of yourself XXXXX
