Ok, because I need more posts:

Does anyone know about the Barcelona & Gaudi excursion? It says that its available 2 days prior to embarkation. So does that mean July 26th or July 26th and July 27th:confused3

I called Disney about excursions that ARE NOT marked limited. Whether they would sell out. The person was basically started reading the excursions I was asking about and then said Yes everything could sell out even if its not marked "limited". I mentioned that our cruise is very full and I would think that Disney would add more buses on to accomodate the demand rather than let them sell out. Well, I wasn't getting satisfactory answers, so I left a voicemail with Debbie in shore excursions to see what she says.

My sisters and I got a letter from DCL asking us to revalidate our online check-in information. We booked directly through DCL. Anyway, the mention, in particular, to revalidate our payment authorization and general information. So I went online to do so. I noticed that they had updated the site and so some things were blank. After filling in all the info and validating, DCL wanted us to re-print the contract signature page. But it stayed grayed out and won't let us do that. I went into the flight information (we didn't book thru DCL) and that was changed too but DCL still doesn't have all the airports in their new pull down menu. So I couldn't do anything there. Anyway, I called DCL and they said they hadn't heard about this letter or didn't understand why we couldn't reprint the contract page. They told me that they decided that I couldn't do it because I can't book excursions until 90 days prior. I tried to ask them what does the excursion booking date have to do with online check-in but they couldn't answer me. They told my sister that she couldn't print the contract page because my other sister probably hasn't updated her online check-in information:confused3 . I think they are clueless.

Regarding embarkation day: I thought someone posted that everyone had to be onboard by 4pm. Does that mean we can't leave the ship after that?

Interesting, UK Airports were not on there, I read you can come and go until 9pm

Hi Kyla,

If I go to my online checkin section, most is greyed out and says its available to fill in on the 29th.

The only thing you can fill in now is the flight information and as Andrew says UK airports are not listed :confused3

Hi Everyone!

Just butting into your thread!:) My family is on the June 16th 11 day cruise. This is the information I posted on the Med Excursions thread. Hope it helps!

This is what I learned from the concierge team at DCL:

The port will open at 10am with boarding around 12:30pm to 1:00pm. They will be checking in cruisers in the terminal from 1-4pm and then it will move to the ship, so this might be what they mean about the 4pm check-in. Maybe they would just like to have you checked-in by then but you do not have to be on board until 9 or 9:30 pm. They will suspend services on the ship from 5:15pm to 6:00pm with the life boat drill to happen sometime between 5:30pm and 5:45pm. DCL is aware that cruisers could possibily be off the ship so the suggestion is to make sure you know where your life boat station is if you miss the drill. Also, don't think you can just not go to it even though you are on the ship, because they will know who is on board and who is ashore. The sail away party is supposed to be at 10pm.

The good thing for most of us is that there will be other cruises going out before us, so as soon as they start reporting back we will have a better idea of whats going to happen and when.

At least you guys will have several more previous cruises to learn things from.

Yes, I mentioned that to them and they said they are gathering a list of missing airports but no mention as to when they will update.

Hi Helen,
My online check-in is not grayed out. The only thing grayed out is the contract. I can go in and edit right now. I can't find anything that says April 29th. Only a message under status? that says once I fill in my guest information and payment authorization, then I can print the contract page. But I just checked again, and I can't find what you are talking about. We'll see what happens on the 29th. The letter I got from DCL asking for the revalidation of my guest information said I needed to do that within 10 days. The letter was dated April 13th. I think thats the day I paid. Anyway, if I don't revalidate within the 10 days, the letter says there may be delays at checkin. This better not affect booking this weekend.

(available 29/4/07 (greyed)

Under the Stateroom section

yes, I don't have that. I filled it out last year since DCL wanted my passport info. so its marked as completed. Then when I went in and edited it last weekend, it updated it as completed on April20th.

It will be interesting to see if it gets more available next week??:confused3 :confused3 :confused3

I just called Disney to double check the Shore Excursions and the CM swore it was Sunday 4-29-2007 at 12:01am East Coast Time.....

Hasn't it been 12:01am West Coast time??

Alright - here's another question I have - may be stupid but here goes - do one have to have all the online paperwork taken care of to book excursions? This is the first time I'm booking online and have no clue what I'm doing so I'm mighty nervous and :scared1:

I was skimming the posts above and now I'm  wondering if I need to get this done before Sunday (Signing online check-in) and whether I need to call DCL to confirm 12:01 EST or PST, last time I called they told me 8 am EST. THis among other things - anyone out there who's organized want to put out a list to help other technophobic people out? I would GREATLY APPRECIATE it - thanks - as I mentioned - we've sailed before but NEVER have done online check-in, sign-up on excursions or kids's club before hand - we always did it at the terminal.

Thanks for not laughing all -

Okay, I am going to jump into your thread again. I hope you guys don't mind. If you do, please let me know and I won't do it again.

It's funny, but everytime some one calls DCL they get a different answer. Since we have been through this already I can tell you the times for booking excursions are as follows: 3:00am EST, 12:00am PST, and I believe for the UK it is 8:00am.

eeyorelvr10 - no, you do not have to have your online paperwork filled out before you book excursions, etc. But you do have to be paid in full and some cruisers posted they had a problem at 90 days because DCL did not have them in as a CC member. So, it might be worth a call to DCL to make sure you are in the computer correctly.

Another bit of information that happened to DISers on our cruise. Several of them booked Palo first and then went in to book excursions and it wouldn't let them book the lead cruiser because they had a Palo reservation. They had to call DCL to get everything straight. I don't know if DCL has corrected this problem or not.

Hope this information helps.

LeiLani, Thanks for answering , and excuse me, too, for butting in. We sail Aug 8. But ,I had to reply by saying I am very disappointed with the lack of help from DCl. Too many with attitude problems. Where's the old Disney spirit ?????:sad2: ...Gina

Hey everyone, I'll just have to see if I can save second place, I think Helen already has me!!:rotfl2:

Thx to LeiLani for the early tips, we appreciate it! I totally have to remember about Sunday morning, I'm not sure if I'm going to get up at 3am?!:confused3 I guess Saturday, I have to doublecheck my excursion pics and go from there!

We were preparing to tour around Barcelona alittle but being on the ship at the adult pool also sounds really good, we are arriving early Saturday morning if all our flights go as scheduled...........:wizard:

As much as I'm excited to be 90 days out, I'm now excited to hear the first cruisers posting in just a few weeks, once they start, I really think our waiting time will fly by!!!
