Andrew.....thx so much for organizing that brunch!! I'm so glad "the rents" will be able to go, they will be thrilled..........even though they've been quiet so far..................YOU WILL DEFINITELY REMEMBER THEM LATER!!:lmao: (My father was the "king" of 70s night a few years ago!!)

This weekend we are at the beach in the rain!! Next week, we have the BIG holiday! Anyone across the pond remember what we're celebrating in America next week????:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

No problem! It will be great.

That sounds really fun, to have three different wine tastings (presumably on the three sea days?) representing the three different countries. I will probably try for that . . .
I read on one of the blogs that it was the 3 sea days, one country each day.

Someone else was wondering, too (can't find the post) where we sign up for the tastings. Guest services?

I'll have a look on the navigators that were posted, and see if there is a notice on embarkation day about signing up for this . . .

I am one up on that already ordered four Wines/Champagne to 'taste'.

Did you find out the names of the tasting wines? DH loves to try different wines all the time. If you know them, can you post please?

Good afternoon Lisa:

I was able to confirm the following reservation at the PALO Private Room:

If you need additional assistance please let me know.

Enjoy your cruise!

Bon Voyage!

(The main part of the confirmation won't paste....but we are confirmed!)

The navigators do show sign up at guest services on embarkation day . . . wine tastings are $12 and each sea day . . .

I know some of them, but ordered off the Pre- Med information kit four for dinner and might get more on board.

M&S is good, I am getting mine from HSBC, (they are one and the same, as HSBC owns M&S Money).

Paul and I both bank with HSBC so I'm in there most days. HSBC FX is run by Thomas Cook and I've noticed that their rate is normally not as good as M&S and they charge commission.

Well done, were you asked to reconfirm on first day at Palos?

It is worth shopping around HSBC no longer use Thomas cook, they sold them, they don't charge commission few do nowadays.

Looking at DIS UK posts M&S is often good.

For your room? I'm allergic to sulfites, probably shouldn't drink wine, but I really enjoy it. I'll probably do the tastings, but avoid the dinner package, although I could just bring my inhaler . . . (take meds so you can drink alcohol, there is something wrong with that!!)

Agree, lets hope there are no more out there!
A few of the cruisers ran into probs getting into and out of Heathrow due to the bombings, it is so sad and pathetic. glad they were able to stop them!!

Thanks Julie. I'll make a note to do that. Actually, those rolls of TP might come in handy. I can see it now, I just keep one in my pocket and I can make tons of notes on it... Hm..........:rotfl: :rotfl:

Last night thousands of pounds of "fertilizer" were found, the stuff used in the Oklahoma Bombing, on Staten Island. I'm thankful that someone is being vigilant in finding these things before they can cause any damage or injury.

My son's girlfriend lives on the block and she could not go home after taking her new puppy to the vet. Guess where they went - back to my home. Luckily everything is oaky - the main thing.

Sandra that we me, I've walked a marathon and I just love  walking round the ship in the mornings. However I've only done DCL Caribbean cruises and the days were much more laid back than I think there going to be on this cruise.

I would love to do a couple of early morning walks with you say 6am - 7 am on a couple of days when we're not getting up at that time to do an excursion. Maybe we can discuss it when we get onboard.

I should be up for walking on days at sea - unless I don't wake up that early. That would be a welcome surprise for a change.
