I should be up for walking on days at sea - unless I don't wake up that early. That would be a welcome surprise for a change.

I was thinking the same thing - the walk sounds great, the time not so great, we'll see.

Sandra that we me, I've walked a marathon and I just love walking round the ship in the mornings. However I've only done DCL Caribbean cruises and the days were much more laid back than I think there going to be on this cruise.

I would love to do a couple of early morning walks with you say 6am - 7 am on a couple of days when we're not getting up at that time to do an excursion. Maybe we can discuss it when we get onboard.

Sounds like we could get a group together for an early morning walk round the ship a couple of times during the trip. That would be really nice.

I love the second one w/the flags. Wendy and I were trying to buy something representing each country at Michael's Craft store here, but we could not get all of them. I like the Flag idea.

Just out of curiousity, I checked the availability on our cruise. A few minutes ago it came up with:
3x category 9
Only GTY on category 10
2x category 11

Last minute cancellations perhaps? Or just a handful of available cabins that come in go in availability as people book, then realize they have to pay the entire amount immediately?

This morning only cat. 11 showed up.

Car bombs in London confirmed at least two now! Both stopped.

I have been running around all day - just heard about the second one

Everything OK over there with the London bomb they found and diffused before it could blow. Is this near where you work, Andrew? They say it was near a popular nightclub called Tiger,Tiger. Wow, what a reality check. I hear we're on alert over here too. Better safe than sorry. Luckily DS & DD left London and are now in Scotland. Still gives you the creeps, though.

Today they are in Edinburgh, Then on to Scone Palace & Culloden, and finally Loch Ness and Glen Coe. After that they are on to Ireland. They both said that Scotland is absolutely beautiful. You are lucky to live in such a place.

Helen I am planning on booking the wine tasting for the first sea day as well..............see you there!! Who else is in? You can drink as much as little as you want, BTW!



This weekend we are at the beach in the rain!! Next week, we have the BIG holiday! Anyone across the pond remember what we're celebrating in America next week????
