At the rate this group is growing, I am sure we can be the majority of any group on the ship!

But, please we won't be like the "Village People" that were on the one cruise that we were on!!!:scared1: On what a night mare!! It was a group from Florida and I know we have someone from Florida, but I can't remember who right now, but I bet they know who the "Village People" are! I will tell you about them sometime!!

A cruise where the DIS group dressed up as police, American Indians, construction workers, soldiers, bikers and cowboys? I think that would even scare me off.

Interesting -- I just noticed that DCL can't spell "Toilet paper" -- they call it "Toliet" as though to rhyme with "Juliet"?????? Of course, I also hear that Andrew is a terrible speller . . .

Don't blame Andrew - if it were Andrew's fault, it would be a Loo paper order form....

Good Morning Everyone!!!! 1 MORE HOUR!! :cool1: :dance3:
I haven't gone back and read the past 15 pages or so, but I will catch up as soon as I get home today !!!!

Where has Lynnise been lately? Had to go back to page 1 to be sure of her name and then hunt since Andrew rearranged all of the pictures just when I was beginning to get familiar with the faces---:confused3 ! It does not take too much to confuse me!

Just wanted to tell her congratulations to her North Carolina baseball team. They are in the finals for the College World Series! They were my pick all along!

HAPPY LAST DAY, SALLIE!
:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

OH - I love his name! I bet you he hates being thought of as small. That's fantastic. My godson/nephew was born at 32 weeks. Then he was only small for about 1 month. At his 1 month check-up - he'd already caught up weight wise to "normal weight kids".

All 3 of my kids were born at 36 - 36 1/2 weeks. The heaviest was 6# 4 ozs, 6# 3 oz and 6# 1oz. The youngest was 19 inches and at 14 is not wearing a size 9 1/2 shoe in women's and is 5'5. My son just topped out at 6'2" tall. I am only 5'4" and his DH is only 6'. My middle got the short end of the stick (pun intended) and is only 5' 1/2 "

She absolutely hates being the shortest one of the family. But she made sure her friends were shorter than her. Her BFF is only 4'11" tall. Technically fits the profile of a 'little' person. But she's cute.

I'll let Ethan know that there is hope for him to catch up he'll be so happy. We used to call him "little legs" until he realised that he was smaller than his peer group so now we just call him "legs". When he was born he was 1lb 10oz and was 7 inches long. He has just had a growing spurt. In my sig pic which was taken just last christmas he is wearnig age 6 pants, now he's wearing age 8 pants so he is slowly catching up.

The nut at the end of the keyboard doesnt have spell check. and left hand is faster than right hand.

Very PC :)

Hey - I read this last night http://www.cruisecritic.com/virtual/virtual.cfm?ID=25&page=1 I think they did a great job reviewing things.

My wife (Perdie -on the boards) and I made a last minute booking for the July 28 Cruise as we are Americans living in London and since the price dropped so much we decided it was kind of a no brainer. We have never been on a Disney Cruise before in fact I made suprise reservations to take my wife on the Eastern Caribbean in Feb 2008 for her 30th birthday. Needless to say were excited about this trip and why we haven't had quite the countdown most have had on this thread we still can't wait to take our first Disney Cruise.

Well, we have the American Indians covered (nearly EVERYBODY from Oklahoma is part AI :)

Have you checked www.allears.com? I don't know if there is any specific info about tours, but they do have a lot of variety of info if you dig. It is a shame that the booklet we received does not give enough detail, nor does the web site. Guess it's too new to Disney, too!

I'll keep looking. DW and I are sitting down this weekend and deciding which to keep and which to switch. Still looking for others to share private excursions, but no luck thus far. Don't know what the problem is (sniffing underarm to check for odor).

I am the primary organizer of our trip and I'm getting stressed. So much to do. I know I'm going to forget something. The lists and spreadsheets you guys have provided are going to be a great help. Mary Jo, if you would share your PPT with Navigators that would be great.

Finally, send some pixie dust our way. We're on week 13 waiting for our passports to arrive. It's a big mess here in the U.S. right now for anyone trying to get one. I have contacted the office of our Congressman and they are on standby to jump in if we don't have them by July 12. But I wasn't too comforted by the statement of the staff member who took my call: "We've only had a few instances this summer where people weren't able to make their trip." :scared1:

Welcome to our Cruise!!! And welcome to the DIS :woohoo:

There is a lot of information on page 1 that will tell you who you're cruising with, and we also have links to an excel spreadsheet & a powerpoint w/the cabins where DISers are indicated. If you'd like to be on those lists, please post the same info. :)

We're also waiting for our passports. Well, I have mine, but we're waiting on the kids. If they don't come in today/tomorrow, then I'm going to start calling on Monday. I don't want to be caught in the same boat as Marla. She got her passport in time, but her daughter's arrived the Tuesday AFTER the cruise set off. That has me worried.

We're on Passport Watch.

I know the feeling about being the primary planner. My kids say, "whatever you decide, Mom" - but I just want to make the right decisions.

I just decided to drop our 1st day in Barcelona excursion, I had booked us for the Spanish village/tapas/flamenco excursion, but I think we would rather explore the ship and get settled in our room, maybe take a nap, instead of running around, so that's the plan. Plus, I also want to TRY and get Palos when we're on board. If we don't make it, that's okay, but I think it would be a nice experience for us.

Okay, Brian, I uploaded the Navigators. I tried to put the ship itineraries & shore excursions in the correct order, but haven't proofed them yet. It's a huge file, so give it time to open. If you right-click on the slide, you should get an option to either edit slide or close slideshow. That will allow you to see them in normal view & then you can increase the view & actually be able to read them.

Okay, I'm way late for work. TTY guys later. Have a great day!

I sure do. What what I've decided is to make a list of things to be done for the trip, and do at least one thing per day. This way I feel like I'm accomplishing something and I won't get overwhelmed near the end.

(Sounds great on paper, doesn't it. Now if I can only stick with it......)
:rotfl2:

Maryann
Thx, I'll try that!:cool1:

Welcome aboard. So, gang, do we count them among the Brits or the Yanks?

Mary Jo, thanks for the PPT and the other info. What is "Passport Watch?"
