I've been collecting lime green ribbons for my bag...........I found one in a kitchen drawer, one on a sportsac bag container was delivered to our house and a lime green bracelet from Gap which is for perfume testing.....

Anyone in the U.K. who need just the perfect Lime Green for recognition, Marks and Spencers have now decided to proudly and unofficially sponser the DISboards are their new carrier bags are the exact Lime Green we use

Ok, this week, I have to........

Clean the whole house,

Reevaluate my excursions,

Finally, fill out the online registration.......

I need to do some more cleaning when I get back from WDW. I am leaving the men and "Sasha" home. Don't look forward to what I need to do then

I have never checked-in on line - is this instead of all the paper work we fill out w/the dcl booklet they send? (Regarding cc info, etc.)

I just finished the on line registration... .there are 5 of us traveling, I wonder if it would have been faster to do it at the port.

How long did it take you? Will you still have to wait on a line when we get to the port?
Was it all the info. regarding credit card, contract signing, etc?

I hear you on the teen age years. I have a 17 year old who is just starting to be somewhat tolerable....I did not enjoy last year with him...ugh

My sons have actually gotten much, much better (unless they want something and then it's now) - they are 19 and close to 22.

My dd right now is the witchy one. I cannot take her attitude, moods and rolling of the eyes much more and she is only 14. I have way too many years until she "might" change her tune.

Hey all - on a dark note - walked into mom's house today - DD wanted to spend some time with her. Usually my mom comes out running to greet us - well all 4'11" of her that is - today she didn't she sent dad to intercept me.

Finally figured out why. DS was in the living room and they were trying to delay me so he can make an escape.

Just wondering JoAnn, they do become sensible again right?

Someday, when he becomes sensible again, we'll talk again, I'm sure.

In the meantime, I have to admit - It hurt but such is life right?

BTW, had to leave when I found that out least they see my tears. I have an image to uphold anyway, according to my mom, I'm the strong one.

So I have been repeating that over and over for the last 3 hours.

Wonder if I should put on Gloria Gaynor's I will Survive!

I am sorrry Laura - please feel better. They always and will manage to hurt us. Most of us did it with our parents and from what we see or are told - they do come back around.

I read something a long time ago and saved it because it was so true. I don't remember where it is hiding of course. But it went something like this,

We spend the first 17 years trying to protect them and then we spend the next 10 years trying to kill them ourselves.

We do so much for them growing up. We want to give them everything and all whenever we can. We are afraid to say no, and when we do, we feel guilty. It takes one word or one gesture and they will hurt us - it is literally painful.

Patience, don't give up and hang in there

I guess you're not bringing the kids? I think we've booked a beach but I'm not sure about that idea. I don't think we're up for another long bus ride after Rome.

I really struggled w/an excursion here also. My kids are the ones that actually said we do not want to sit on the bus/car that long each way - I don't think they want to do all day after Rome. They have no problem with Rome.

We have to do what best fits our families.
