Congrats on the minipirate: Joanne and the Majorpirate: Penny!
Thx! Now, more important, I HAVE TO START CLEANING TODAY!! After my dentist appointment (yikes) and my workout, it's cleaning for the rest of the day!! Also, at some I want to review my excursions and register.........what's everyone else doing today??:happytv:

Leslie,
Count me in referred to having some kind of rum and banana drink on board to celebrate Penny getting the major pirate last night. There was a marathon of posting with some people trying and others helping. I missed the pirate but we all had fun getting there.

Sandra

I hope this means you want to join us!:woohoo: :woohoo:
Thank you for reminding me - what I wanted to say was that "as long as it's fruity, has rum and a cute umbrella, I'm game"

today - trainer, look thru packing lists, on-line registration, work on excursions and work on registering for a class next fall
probably won't get it all done - we'll try.

We have a full day of things to do today.
DD13 has an appointment to get the bands for her braces on today.
I have to balance checkbooks
And if I don't do laundry soon there will be a family walking around naked in Whitman. (That would not be a pretty sight especially since I have to do grocery shopping as well.)
Also, I have the paperwork done to get the kids passports, It's actually been ready since January but I am the queen of procrastination. So I'd like to get to the town hall to get them in process. BUt that depends on DH getting home in time to go with us. She's only 13 so both parents have to be present.
So I will be busy but between loads there is always time to keep up with the boards.

Sandra

fastener to keep fish extender from "swimming away"

Sandra

How do you secure the fish extender???????????? It's a shame that we have to worry about them "swimming away" but I can see that it could be a problem.

Ok, didn't I, in a moment of weakness a few posts back actually say that I LIKE my DS?

DS & DD left yesterday for a 2 week tour of England, Ireland, & Scotland, and being the nice mom that I am, I decided to do DS's wash so his hamper would be clean when he got home. Well, after picking off 5000 pieces of tissues off his clothes, I take it back!!!!!!!!

I have one of each and both of them went through their "alien" stage. During their teen/late teen years, I really felt like I was living with aliens. They did start to become human again, eventually, and right now I actually LIKE them. Stick with it and eventually it will get better. Anna put it a lot better than I could. :grouphug: :grouphug:

Maryann
Yes, we've all had our moments.......which is why we talk here everyday to take our minds off them (and treasure the good times!)
:hippie:

Good luck with the passports. Luckily you don't need them for this cruise. What a mess with people trying to expedite them. You should be fine with getting them for Dec.

I was panicking........I'm thinking, SHE MAY GET HER PASSPORTS??? I forgot they weren't coming again!:confused3

Well I checked off another thing today. The big bathroom is cleaned so I am free and don't have to do anything else constructive today!

pirate: pirate:

That must be God's way of saying, "What a good idea!" Shopping it is!

How long did it take you? Will you still have to wait on a line when we get to the port?
Was it all the info. regarding credit card, contract signing, etc?

Hi Anna,
When you sit down to do it have your passports, credit card, flight schedule and emergency contact info in front of you. It took me about 20-25 minutes but I kept getting up to get something else. It's a lot calmer doing it at home then in the terminal with my kids hovering over my shoulder.

I live on a tiny island called Manhattan, and there is no Walmart here either . . . I ordered my fish extender online. Google "Hanging wall organizer" and you'll get a ton of choices. Of course shipping to the Caymans may be expensive, I don't know.

Perfect, thanks for the info. You don't need a Walmart in Manhatten!

Hello everyone. Please reply if you have any experience or knowledge on this. We want to enjoy the Amalfi Coast (Naples Day 4) and have a more relaxed day that the family can enjoy. What about fishing, shopping and/or resorts that will let you have a day rate to enjoy their pool etc?
