Hi everyone,

I have just come in from Wendy's home - she asked me to post some very sad news.

She would like to thank everyone for their good wishes and prayers and hopes to post soon. I can't believe I am typing this, but she received a call this morning that her dad passed away. It has truly been a roller coaster ride for her and her family. We all wish he had come home and/or at least made it to his hometown Cefalu.

Anna, I cant begin to tell you how profoundly sad I am. I really thought he was going to pull through, it is a shock to say the least. Please send me the funeral information and Wendy's address when you get a chance. I would so appreciate it. If there is anything we can do, please let me know. If you can PM your phone number again I would appreciate it.

Please give Wendy our condolences. If you can PM me with the info too, I'd appreciate it.

I also wanted to say Thank you for the funs times to all of those Disers I had the chance to meet...LynnTarrant, Disneylvr5, MrsJobby, jlawall, MrsG and any others. It was a great cruise!! I'm glad to hear everyone had a magical time. I cannot wait for the next one!

Please post pics of the wedding. It was so great meeting you and your mom.

I have just come in from Wendy's home - she asked me to post some very sad news.

She would like to thank everyone for their good wishes and prayers and hopes to post soon. I can't believe I am typing this, but she received a call this morning that her dad passed away. It has truly been a roller coaster ride for her and her family. We all wish he had come home and/or at least made it to his hometown Cefalu.

Anna---I am just so very sorry to hear this. Please give her our sympathies. What a tragic thing for her family. I will remember the family in my prayers.

Hello everyone - from Gijon, Spain. Our vacation continues & we are having a great time, but I haven't had a chance to get on the Internet until now (kind of driving me crazy). It's 1:30am & Nick & Kelly just left to go to a fiesta (it's party time in Spain), and probably won't get home until much later. Unfortunately, my cousin is tired & we have to go, so I don't have a chance to upload pics to share or catch up with you guys. Hopefully later. However, I wanted to thank all of you for the wonderful time we had with you. Our trip was so much better for having met all of you.


I also just read about Wendy's father. She & her family have my deepest condolences.

I am sure she will be on soon - not sure when, too many plans to make/change rearrange, things are up in the air and her son's wedding coming up also on the 25th in Florida. Her dad would have wanted the wedding to go on and Matthew was with him (and his grandma) while he was in the hospital in Caglieri, Sardegna.


Back to the post cruise conversation/ I am enjoying all the pictures posted here. I can't wait til I get all my pictures tomorrow on paper.

I am happy to see many have rebooked. Wendy's sil enjoyed her first Disney cruise so much, she also rebooked.

Okay, now I'm crying b/c Wendy's son got off the ship and helped out with his grandfather b/e he speaks Italian......how great is it that he had those last few days with him? That is so beautiful and special........

No Problem Harole Ann - It was a pleasure meeting you, we had such a good time. I have post cruise blues - Although we did rebook on board. ( and the best thing was, it was Daves idea, although I did happen to mention about the discounts etc)

We will be cruising 2009 (going to transfer) Easter (if school dates work out ok) or failing that Summer.

The giftbag exchange was a really fantastic idea (both the adults and the childrens) i hope whoever recieved our bag enjoyed opening it as much as i enjoyed putting it together!!!(Beverley east Yorkshire) .

we enjoyed the cruise so much we booked another one whilst on board - 9th february 2008 Western Caribbean.
