I just made my 500th Post- Holy Cow!!! I remember thinking how could people post so much??? Well I got my answer- no cooking, cleaning, or moving away from the computer ??????? Works for me!!!

Whew! For the past two days we've been so busy and I've only been able3 to pop in here and there (when DH wasn't looking ). Sallie was so sweet. She called last night because she was worried I was missing in action. Everything's fine - just trying to ketup with the stuff I'm SUPPOSED to be doing, like , paying bills , cleaning , packing , etc.

Yesterday DH & I decided to clear off our video camera and digital snap camera to get it ready for the tons of pics/videos we're going to take. Thankfully he reminded me to load the software for the digital camera onto my laptop! Imagine if I went to upload and left the software at home and spent hours trying to download it from the internet!!! JUST CHECK,IF YOU ARE TAKING A LAPTOP, THAT YOU LOADED ALL THE SOFTWARE FOR YOUR ELECTRONIC DEVICES ON TO IT!

Anyway, we uploaded software, pics and videos which took about 4 hours but it's done. Everything's cleared off and ready for the 1000's of pics I'm going to take. I labelled cables (thanks for the idea, Sallie) and tried to organized all the electronic stuff. Ugh.... but it's done. Now I just have to remember to charge all the batteries.......

Good Monday gang,
Wow! As much as I tried to get online this weekend it just didn't happen. Boy, have I have got some ketchup to do. Welcome to our new friends. Seems like we get new DISers everyday.

We had a busy weekend. Pulled all clothes for family members and tentatively packed bags just to see where we were. Also took pics of all outfits (thanks for that tip) to post on calendar. Our friends think we're nuts, but I think this will make getting up and ready much easier.

I may try to cut back on my clothing (but I'm still bringing my tux ... DW had splendid idea of wearing to our Palo dinner in addition to formal night).

With just over a week away it will be all hands on deck (pardon the pun) as we kick prep into high gear. My thanks to Sandra for FE instructions. I'll try to help DW do that this week.

Susy, we're working on kid's exchange bag. Give me a PM if there is anything particular that you think your DN would like.

Helen, we'll try to make it to 4GATS/FOUNTAIN if we're not just dead tired. Our plan is to travel from Hilton Diagonal to the Grand Marina and then to the restaurant.

I'll try to check in later. But no promises. It's going to be a sprint to finish up work stuff before we leave.

HI Suzy- You cant imagine how much I miss those pink, sparkly, princess days. I probably could have bought another house with all the trinkets, accessories, dress ups, and clothes that sparkled and twinkled. That is exactly what Carley said she wanted to do after our shopping excursion- go to the Disney store for princess things- I thought it should be something a little different- but I will listen to my daughter from now on!!!
I did forget about the music- and she is sleeping right now, but as soon as gets up I will have her post some. I have no idea what the names are- Im a Frank Sinantra, disco, Rat Pack, easy listener- so I have no idea !!!!

We are soooo excited to meet you guys - Serena just LOVES "big girls" so it will be a real treat for her. 2 1/2 is such a funny age, she hears us talk about the trip all the time, someone asked her about where she was going and she said "Bar-cellll-ooona" - I started laughing! I didn't know she knew how to say that.

I was planning on getting started packing yesterday, but my sunday babysitter cancelled at the last minute (my husband is away on business) - so I'm having a little Monday morning panic. Leaving for work, nothing pre-packed, we leave in a week!!!!! And my husband only arrives back the night before we leave, so he can't help at all and he is usually the big "packer" in the family.

Anyway, it will all get done somehow.

For all the parents of younger kids, like my five year old son, should we try and pick a time for a kids chat and go live in the chat room? I know that Dash would love that!

Anytime after 5pm PST is usually good for us, the boys get home from camp at 4:30pm.

Don't feel obligated to use the paper bag fish extender. It was just something that came into my mind when you said paperbag, so I threw it together. My feelings will NOT be hurt if you use something else.

Well, I'm starting to have major panics. I was suppose to pack this weekend and see if I'm within 50lbs limit per bag. I have no luggage scale and was not able to get out and do shopping this weekend. Hubby has a fish scale though. Will that work?

Got the dogs washed and spent alot of time telling them that I will be back in 3 weeks to get them and not to bite anyone while I'm gone.

I made fish extender gifts (well, half of them) but I don't have a fish extender yet and YES, I'm so anxiously waiting to get the paper bag one that Sandra is sending me AND NO you can't have it bridegirl

We leave next Sunday to start our vacation, I must, must, must must pack tonight. Dogs leave us on Saturday to vacation at Uncle Bob's.
