I think the foamies may be pieces of foamwhich are similar in size size to the felt pieces the craft stores sell. We used these for some projects the kids had. The foam was much easier for the kids to work with when cutting.

I think the last we heard was that they have to wait until Friday to see if it arrives via mail, and then will go to a passport agency in CA to get it . . . pretty much the day or so before they leave. I think she can use all the pixie dust and four leaf clovers we can send her way right now . . .

Thanks Julie. I hope the passport arrives in the mail and she does not have to spend the restof the week stressing only to have to spend an entire day at the Passport office. Yikes!!! Just what you need before a long awaited vacation.
The feds dropped the ball on this passport thing. They really did not plan for the overwhelming number of requests which would flood their offices. They should have planned better since only like 20% of Americans had passports prior to this year. We have been spoiled.

tonight the travelling home was just a nightmare...well this morning was as well come to that....late both ways infact.

Anyhow this evening I'm going to alter the length of the boys black trousers (for formal night) and kahki trousers (for semi formal) so them I can packe them and they're done

Agreed. We were lucky because I've had a passport since I was very young, and I had gotten some for the girls before we went to England in early 2005. When we did that, I think theirs came in about 5 or 6 weeks, with no expedited delivery -- those were the days!

Hi everyone, this is our first time on a cruise. I booked a few weeks ago and hadn't realised how much planning was required. To introduce us: We are Bhinesh(Me), Mina(DW), Ursula(DD8) and Kishan(DS5) Originally from Tooting SW17 London UK, then Stamford CT USA and now Paget, Bermuda. We arrive in Barcelona on 27th July and are staying in the Eurostars Grand Marina (only one we could find at this late stage)

Can someone help me with these questions please:
[1] Anyone know about the hotel? How do i transfer from the hotel to ship?
[2] Most excursions seem to be potentially unsuitable for the kids. So are we allowed to leave them in the kids clubs, while we are off the ship? I would rather not but reports back from earlier cruisers seem to recommend not to bring kids to Rome, Pompeii, Florence etc.
[3] What other excursions should i try for the kids? All of the ones dedicated to kids are full. Will i be able to book them or go on a waiting list onboard?

I will take my kids on all my tours some will be long days but educational as well. I havent stayed at your hotel but know its a very good five star.

Go to the shore desk on the ship on arrival they keep some back for booking on board. Plus people cance.

As Josh got straight A's in his end of year school report and level 5's in all his SAT's we bought him a laptop as a reward.

He's just loaded all his photo's and video that he took on our Xmas holiday at WDW and DCL xmas special cruise AND he's playing the video he took when Pirate Mickey flies down from the stack at the start of the party.......IT SOUNDS SOOOOOOO COOL and make me feel like I want to be there RIGHT NOW !!!!!!!
