Hi just checking in. Don't have time to read everything. Hope the May 26th cruisers are reporting back. Thank goodness, you guys haven't been chatting up a storm, only 8 pages to catchup, later.

Ok, MaryJo, I got your payment. You overpaid? Did you just want lanyards or reels too? Please clarify your order.

Lanyard Status 5/22:
Still taking orders and payments.
I have the lanyard design. Once I get people's payments, I place the order.
DCL called and said they can't give permission in writing for our design, but its a case of "don't ask, don't tell", "we never had this conversation", no hassles as long as we are not selling and its for personal use.

ORDER INFORMATION:
Since this is a two color lanyard, the cost will be $2.43 per lanyard
Each lanyard comes with a badge holder which is $0.20 each
So I need a total of $2.63 for each lanyard
Add $1 for each reel. I'm thinking of ordering the black reel to go with the black lanyard. Sound Ok with everyone?????
So the total for a lanyard with reel is $3.63.

Timeline: Would like to get the lanyard order in before June 15th latest. Which means I need everyone's payment prior. Anyone else who wants to order, please post and let me know. Payment info is below.

Payment: I can take paypal payments (basic account, not the premier account) at kylarice at worldnet.att.net. If you don't have paypal, I will take a check. For the UK people who don't have paypal, just pay when you pick up your lanyards, under the table please. Please pm me for my address to send the checks to. Update: Ok, on the paypal payment, some of you are sending me are OK and some are using their premier account. I have a personal account (basic) and while it does allow me to accept payments from folks with premier accounts it charges me a fee to accept plus it limits the number of payments I can accept to a total of 5 for the year. So, if you are unsure, go ahead and try sending me a payment via paypal and if it kicks back as denied, then you know that you have a premier account and I just denied it. Then you will need to send me a check. Pm me and I will give you my address.

I posted this on the previous page, but in case you haven't seen. Some people were confused on how things attach together. Hopefully, this will clear it up:

Here is the lanyard with the badge holder (except ours will be vertical)

Here is the lanyard with badge reel (except ours will come as two pieces: a lanyard with J hook (as shown in the above pic). Each badge reels has a belt clip in back. The J hook hooks on the belt clip of the badge reel. See the little tab on the badge reel? That will snap onto the top of the badge holder. The badge holder will hold your Key to the World card. The badge reel is not heavy duty. It is a light string and is made to hold the weight of your badge holder.

I just read your post and was horrified at what you've been through. I don't know how your'e still speaking (writing) coherently after all that. We're glad you have not lost your vacation and I think you'll find us a fun group.

There are quite a few of us who could not get Palo reservations even at the 90 day mark. We're hoping to get a reservation or on a waiting list on embarkation day.

Hi Everyone. DisneySpirit here. We missed our cruise to the Med on 5/26 because of a lost passport while traveling to Barcelona. For the gorey details read our trip report for the current 5/26 Magic Med cruise. But, the good news is we will be joining all of you now instead. We don't know our room # as yet but have a Cat 6 guaranteed (Deluxe stateroom with verandah) We want to fly out a day earlier this time so could sure use some hotel suggestions for Barcelona.

Anyway, I was going to say that I just noticed your post count - we must get you more 'chatty' as our friends across the pond are fond of telling us. Last weekend, I told Aurora1959 to just "jump in" and well, let's say that about 4 days later - she hit over 100 posts. My earlier reference to watch what I rant was in reference to that.

Anyway, once I got off I just wanted to tell you guys that Walt's ixiedust: was certainly reserved for you - you got the same cabin just about, the same almost everything plus - got your passport back! What a lucky pair! You are welcome to sit with us if you'd like.

OK, this is Tom (DisneySpirit) DW Lynn uses her computer mostly for email and research. I am usually more of a lurker on Disboards to date but try and read as many messages on DCL as I can. We discovered DIS on the Westbound PC cruise. They all had these Mickey hand signs for waving at people in the ports we were visiting!

By accident I stopped by Preludes during a DIS trivia contest and was invited to join in. Well, I won! I received a very nice WDW boxed pin set for a prize. I was afraid to tell them I had been a part time Disney Store CM from 1993-2000 and had represented my store in the Disney Store's National Triva Contest for several years in a row. As I've grown older I still know alot of Disney Trivia, but I just can't access the answers as quickly as I used to!

I still have lots of CM friends who moved around the Disney Company as their careers changed. I get to visit with them when we are at Disneyland every other month (We have APs) or at WDW in FL. We even took a DL CM friend on 2 DCL sailings with us because she has done many magical things for us through the years and is just a wonderful friend. (ie: Club 33 Dinners at DL)

We have been DVC members at OKW since 1992 and just recently added more points from AKL Villas. We trade for cruises a lot! The EB PC in 2008 will be our 10th Disney Cruise.

We have been to every Disney theme park except HKDL. Our favorite is TDS in Japan.

My wife and I are confirmed Disneyholics and collectors.

There is one room in our house we call "the Museum" it is so full of Star Trek, Beatles, and Disney paraphernalia that we currently can't get in there! My latest project is putting together the Robert Olszewsky minature train platform of Disneylands Main Street USA. This has become a very expensive hobby. I also am an avid pin collector with over 2755 pins. ( DisneySpirit on PinPics)

We have no kids (that would be reduntant) but, have 3 Siberian Huskies. Yes, I know we live in the desert! They are indoor dogs!

I have repaired computers of all kinds since 1975. I have worked for Honeywell Info Systems, Motorola Semiconductor, and now for Freescale Semiconductor. I was a music major for a few years in college but turned to digital electronics when the computer job boom hit in the 1970s. DW is a dance teacher and has been a charter schoool administrator. She is currently tutoring at a learning center. I was born in NJ but moved to AZ in 1979. DW was born in CT and moved here in 1980. We met as Star Trek Fandom penpals and later at the NYC ST conventions of the 1970s.

I played in a rock band all during HS and College. (guitar, keyboards, and alto sax) I am a huge Beatles and Beach Boys fan. (DW likes Neil Diamond) I still play my George Harrison style Gretsch guitar and my Yamaha keyboards for recreation just not in a band anymore.

Man, this talking about your self stuff is hard!

We've seen Wicked three times . . . it's such a great show and such an inspiring lesson for everyone about being different and living up to your potential regardless of what others think of you -- a valuable lesson for young women and girls in particular.

I think you and your daughter will love Legally Blonde . . . my two younger daughters are singing some of the catchier songs ("Omigod!") and are already asking when they can see it again.

See - I knew I liked you for a reason! We have 2 - yes 2 (But thank God their female) - one B&W and one WHITE - both with blue eyes and both totally spoiled! They are respectively AKA Miss DIVA DOG/Devil Dog and the Ghost Dog. We'll have to exchange pictures sometime. Would love to exchange war stories - ours are also indoor more than outdoor - in fact we spend a large portion of our day playing the In-N-Out Game! And not the burger joint! My kids are sometimes jealous of the girls as they say I cook for the girls and not them!

But, Laura, the scarecrow DID have brains -- as the wizard showed, he just didn't have the diploma! (And the tin man, always my favorite, was full of heart -- but didn't fare so well in the Wicked version.) And of course in Wicked the scarecrow ends up to be Fiyero (maybe that was a spoiler for those who haven't seen it?) so all the better. I really think that Wicked is a story of female strength, and quite different in many ways from the book, which I read later. I've heard that Universal is developing a movie version that cannot replicate the experience of seeing it live on stage (there is really nothing like live performance) but at least lots of little girls who can't make it to a show can be exposed to the message.
