Lanyard Status 5/22:
Still taking orders and payments.
I have the lanyard design. Once I get people's payments, I place the order.
DCL called and said they can't give permission in writing for our design, but its a case of "don't ask, don't tell", "we never had this conversation", no hassles as long as we are not selling and its for personal use.

ORDER INFORMATION:
Since this is a two color lanyard, the cost will be $2.43 per lanyard
Each lanyard comes with a badge holder which is $0.20 each
So I need a total of $2.63 for each lanyard
Add $1 for each reel. I'm thinking of ordering the black reel to go with the black lanyard. Sound Ok with everyone?????
So the total for a lanyard with reel is $3.63.

Timeline: Would like to get the lanyard order in before June 15th latest. Which means I need everyone's payment prior. Anyone else who wants to order, please post and let me know. Payment info is below.

Payment: I can take paypal payments (basic account, not the premier account) at kylarice at worldnet.att.net. If you don't have paypal, I will take a check. For the UK people who don't have paypal, just pay when you pick up your lanyards, under the table please. Please pm me for my address to send the checks to. Please include your DIS forum name with any payment, so I know who you are.
Update: Ok, on the paypal payment, some of you are sending me are OK and some are using their premier account. I have a personal account (basic) and while it does allow me to accept payments from folks with premier accounts it charges me a fee to accept plus it limits the number of payments I can accept to a total of 5 for the year. So, if you are unsure, go ahead and try sending me a payment via paypal and if it kicks back as denied, then you know that you have a premier account and I just denied it. Then you will need to send me a check. Pm me and I will give you my address.

I posted this on the previous page, but in case you haven't seen. Some people were confused on how things attach together. Hopefully, this will clear it up:

Here is the lanyard with the badge holder (except ours will be vertical)

Here is the lanyard with badge reel (except ours will come as two pieces: a lanyard with J hook (as shown in the above pic). Each badge reels has a belt clip in back. The J hook hooks on the belt clip of the badge reel. See the little tab on the badge reel? That will snap onto the top of the badge holder. The badge holder will hold your Key to the World card. The badge reel is not heavy duty. It is a light string and is made to hold the weight of your badge holder.

We downgraded to a Cat 12., 1-1/2 weeks ago and don't have a room assignment yet. I checked the reservation planner and it still lists Cat. 5through 12 as being available. I'm wondering how many new bookings they've gotton versus people downgrading for the Money savings?

Oh well, I know the'll have a room for us somewhere so I'm not concerned just curious.

Hey Mary Jo -

I think our boards will be VERY slow this weekend. I think there are some guidelines that we must follow. Something about bits. If you would like - you can go to the first page of the EB PC Repo for next year and on the first page is a post by LBgraves which gives the guidelines for the banners. Its actually quite interesting to see. You will know when you come to it when you see the same banner in 3 sizes. Be warned though - that first post is a doozy - almost like ours on page 1.

WebmasterCricket helped create the rules for graphics. Actually, I think it was a WM collaboration. He should be able to make some that are not byte-intensive.

I'm in early stages of working on a banner, but welcome any help, and ideas. Andrew sent me the specs and link to the thread with banners in multiple sizes on Thursday. It's a little tricky to come up with just one size because whatever banner we have must be incorporated into your existing tag area.

I recall a Mickey bean bag in a toga - could be a start. I'll try to see if I find images.

Also - I found an image of a disney pin that featured Italy. Maybe there is a pin trader out there that can get the image?

Cooling - see you are no longer "earning your ears" Wasn't that you too last weekend? Pretty good - for me it took almost 4 months to get that darn thing off.



Hey Brian - I thought someone had asked you. Your right - with everyone having something on their sig line, you'd have to come up with options. Also, do we have to follow copyrights on here too? Sorry to bring that up - but if we take an image off of a website - this may get us into trouble.


I know that for one - I have 2 banner already in there which takes me to about 29 of the 50 allowed. So maybe we can do something like the EB repo had and have different versions of it? Sorry to put this out there but I sure would love to display all my banners at least for a while. Then I'm gonna have to start deleting them as I go.

We're allowed 3 graphics at a time, including countdowns, so with all of you multi-cruisers, you might have to rotate.

Hi, in Bethany Beach now!! www.bethanycam.com It is so beautiful....sunny warm just perfect!! Bethany is just north of Ocean City MD....very southern Delaware. I just went to Liquor Store and this morning I went to the Grocery Store. I have been working all day today other than that. The kids went to the beach and went shopping and my DH just took them to Rehoboth Beach for some fun.....I am going to make myself a Margarita and take a nap next to my dog!!

Toga to me says Greece......I really wanted this cruise to go to Greece and I was a little DISappointed when it didn't.....but I got over it pretty quickly!!

My ds was a little DISappointed, too. Have a GREAT Trip!

Thats great, I saw a lot of it on our TV this morning from LA, on the repo thread CAPTAIN CRASH is a great Star Wars fan.

We are from Penrith just south of Carlisle, so not too far away from you .
I am flying to Barcelona from Newcastle airport, {on my own} my husband is flying from Tenerife where he will be finishing a holiday with his daughter and grandson .
We are all flying on the 28th, it's very scarry I keep thinking what if someones flight is cancelled or delayed !!!.
My niece and her family are flying from Luton we all arrive at differant times of the day first one at 11.30 last one at 16.15 .

Welcome to this wild, wonderful bunch of people! It is really becoming a large group and I know we will have a grand time! I have been away from the boards for one day and have thirty pages to read!!

Toga's and Greece do go together, but the ancient Romans (Ceasar and all) wore them too. Although I think they had a different name, like 'robe'.

What I was searching for was an image of Mickey, touring Italy. Perhaps Mickey and the tower of Pisa, or Mickey and the colliseum. Of course, if anyone is good enough, we could merge two images.

I found one of Mickey as a gondolier, but that represents Venice. So I didn't consider it.
