Now the rules are

RE: Magic fountain meeting place
I have had some great responses from the ? in cruise critic
you walk past the two brick towers near the exposition center ( i think it's called Avegnuda - "Avenue in English" - Reina M. Cristina) towards the Palau Nacional museum (which will be lit up at night-possibly with moving colored "laser lights" behind it). The Font Monjuic (Magic Fountains) is located up a staircase which can also be reached using a set of escalators that cross the street. That will be the major attraction in the area so most crowds will be heading towards it.
As for a meeting place, you can choose one of the two aforementioned towers - pick either the left or right one (facing away from the statue which is directly on the mini traffic circle on Plaza Espanya) because with the crowds you may not see each other - or you can send a scout over to the other tower periodically to locate your group.
There are lots of cafes and restaurants in the area. Ave Paral-lel has several restaurants and taparias that have outdoor seating. Friday and Saturday nights are definitely busier since most Europeans stay up very late. We had dinner at several restaurants but did not sit at the outdoor cafes because of the cigarette smoke.
In response to Ms Understood, the Font Motjuic is similar to a small-scale water show at Las Vegas' Bellagio Hotel complete with lights and music. I believe it is similar to a water show at Victoria's Butchart Gardens (if memory serves). Lots of families as well as tourists enjoy this free, outdoor activity. We stayed at a nearby hotel so we watched the show on both Saturday and Sunday night.
No need of locals with such a good information!!
The only thing to point is thet you can reach Plaza Espanya by red and also green metro line and many buses too.
I was also thincking on the towers to meet. They are a reproduction of the Venitian tower.
This is a picture of the towers

Should we meet next to the tower on the right as we are walking up to it?

Andrew would you edit your quote so that it has the rest of the tower info on it rather than i being on the bottom of a page?
I noticed that on Bristish Air that they are not allowing seat assignments until 24 hours prior to your flight. Is that the same for everyone or is that just me because I'm using miles for my seats?
I ended up getting seats anyway last year when I first booked the flight. That was prior to BA updating their site which now doesn't allow seat booking. I called BA and they said I was lucky, but not sure if that means I get to keep the seats or not.
Not you again
Congrats
I'm so addicted. I didn't catch the first season until they did a rerun midseason during Christmas. Since then I have been hooked. Last night was crazy. A flash forward. Who was in the coffin? How can Christian Shepphard be alive? Who's on the other end of the phone? Who is Kate going home to? Why does Jack want to go back to the island? Walt! Why didn't Charlie just join Desmond and escape that way? Why didn't Charlie swim through the porthole? Why doesn't that russian guy ever die? Is there a parallel universe/alternate reality? Why did Ben take Alex back to her mother? Why was the episode called "Through the Looking Glass"?

Its locked now for seat assignments.
I too reserved mine last September, but the site has changed since and it says I can't reserved til 24 hours before. So when I called BA, they said not to mess with it and I'm lucky I got seats before.
