i think i'm just earning my ears also. i never come up with anything clever or fitting to say.

if i could "adopt" one it will be mediterranean or bust (or more appropriately mediterranean and broke)

oops i'm a mouseketeer, i had been earning my ears for a while and forgot.

I learned that when you get over 80 posts you become a mouseketeer.

If you just keep posting here, the tag fairy will get ya. In fact, I think that mediterranean or broke is a great tag.

You know - the first thought I had when reading this was to hide the valuables in the washer and dryer. I bet thieves wont look there!

Don't feel bad, Helen! I think we are all in the same boat, literally! We just got home from the baseball field and I was snapping pictures of my grandson pitching a no-hitter when guess what--the battery was nearly gone. It did hold up, but the rest of his team did not ....lost in extra innings.

When we came home, I could not find the charger!

Well, I did find it about 20 minutes into the hunt... already put together with the other camera's charger for the trip!!! I tried to pretend I was so organized , but I think dh saw right through that one!!

Too bad they lost. Our team (the Pirates) lost in their second round of the playoffs. It's a two game elimination so we play again tomorrow night. Secretly - I just want baseball to be over. I brought my wireless card and watched the game while on the boards at the last game.

Oh yeah. I get annoyed by the fact that everyone (media, email, etc.) is constantly trying to use fear to communicate. Yeah yeah, the world is a scary place. But if you're going to step out of your house at all (or take a shower, or eat or drink anything, or even take a breath), you might as well get used to it.

At least we aren't living in caves in fear of saber tooth tigers appearing out of nowhere and... what? I thought they were extinct! Oh now ... aruguahfswe....

My DD, age 10, would love to meet another 'only' on the cruise to buddy up with. Anybody sailing with a 10 yr old girl (or thereabouts)?

We have created a teen/tween thread where she could post. I know that Andrew has a daughter, but i forgot her age. Although, I have a 9 year old son who pretty much is on his own because his brother is older. So if they wanted to buddy up or be penpals pre-cruise, that's cool with me. I will have him create an account here in a minute and then post.

Hey guys = just a quick note. I want to say how much I appreciate this group. I try to read up on other threads when I have a chance. Some people are so grouchy and mean spirited - it's really too bad. I realize that we can hide behind our disnames - but that doesn't mean that people need to be so judgemental and contrary and downright pissy.

Anyway, just my two cents and, (rubbing his eyes smiley), I love you guys!!

I agree, I have read other threads where people like to point fingers, etc. I think this is a great group and I look forward to meeting all of you and cruising together again in the future. I have learned so much from all of you, not just DCL stuff too. Like what 'brit chat' is. And I get my daily laugh from you guys.

Yeah I totally agree with you. I have a lot of aunts that have gotten into the internet and emails lately. So now all I get is a boatload of emails of false problems. i have gotten into just emailing them the links to snopes back.

I'm tired of hearing the 10 ways you can use your cell phone and how a woman made miniature babies out of icing.

I'm tired of hearing the 10 ways you can use your cell phone and how a woman made miniature babies out of icing.

I have mixed feelings about phones you can use 10 ways. They're cameras, MP3 players, TV's, web browsers - about the only thing some of these phones don't do well is actually make phone calls.

It may be helping, but they did lose the war. I have a brother and sister in law in Richmond, VA. My SIL is a born and bread Richmond girl. Back there they refer to the Civil War as the War of Northern Aggression But I admit that the Brits do seem like a civil bunch

Dirty clothes, shoes, school stuff - lots of stuff fits into the dryer. We sold a house FSBO and had some drive-by showings - the dryer was a big help!! People look in closets!!

This is our busy season - daughter plays HS and tournament fastpitch. Both of our sons play baseball and one just picked up lacrosse. I love this time of year - in Montana, it is a much shorter season though!!

I agree - we have late dinner - and I'm glad. But, 10:00 is awfully late! I'm less worried about the time to eat and more worried about how it impacts other activities. My kids are finally banana: ) at an age where I don't have to feed them by a specific time or be by a potty at all times - but they're also at an age where they can stay up late and enjoy a dance party - I don't want them to miss that either! I'll be watching these logs - I hope I can find some more for the current trip!
