OK, I just sent a post about being a prune from being in the hot tub for too long and about having to get up for pilates but not for school (summer break) and it never showed up??? What gives???:confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Hi everyone,

Hope you all have had a good day. Here I am again LATE in the night, missing all the repartee :upsidedow and barely on page 472 trying to catch up ... again. :)

This time tomorrow I wil be on Explorer of the Seas . . . fairly close to muster drill time, I believe. We sail away at 5, and apparently almost clip the underside of the Verrazano bridge as we head out past the Statue of the Liberty. I've never been to Bermuda, so hope the weather is good, then St. Martin, St. Thomas, San Juan, 4 days at sea, back June 17. I'll be sure to try the rock climbing wall and ice skating!
Have a wonderful trip! We'll want to see pics.

I agree - we have late dinner - and I'm glad. But, 10:00 is awfully late! I'm less worried about the time to eat and more worried about how it impacts other activities. My kids are finally ( ) at an age where I don't have to feed them by a specific time or be by a potty at all times - but they're also at an age where they can stay up late and enjoy a dance party - I don't want them to miss that either! I'll be watching these logs - I hope I can find some more for the current trip!

I still think late dining is best for me - since 5 of the port departures are 7:30pm or later, this gives us more flexibility. But I can see that a snack at 4 or 5 will be in order.

Hey all - FINALLY got done with some errands. DD14 graduates tomorrow and the church service is at 11 and the reception is at 7.

So today I was running all over town getting her robe pressed, ordering flowers, finding a dress and then even finding time to do a gym session and even cardio. After that - had to run and pick her up and take her to do her manicure and pedicure. GEEZ, I'm tired from that. NOW - I'm POOPED! So this is the first time I've had to check the boards.

Now on my way to ketchup before the boards go down.

Lanyard Status 6/7:
Last Call for Orders - I'm ordering this week.
I'm talking to the vendor and was thinking of ordering the smaller badge holder just to make sure the key card can't fall out. However, I found out that the smaller one will probably not work for us because of the way it attaches to the lanyard. The vendor is sending me a sample to show me and another sample of a horizontal badge holder of a size closer to the key card than the original vertical badge holder I was looking at. Anyway, if the key card will fit snug in the horizontal badge holder will anyone have an objection to that? or would you prefer to stick to the vertical badge holder? The vertical badge holder has about 1/2" extra width than the key card. But its vertical. The name card might make it fit more securely or might make it slip out more easily if its very glossy and slick. also on the horizontal badge holder, the name card may fit names better with larger print than you would get with the vertical badge holder. let me know your thoughts.

ORDER INFORMATION:
Cost will be $2.63 per lanyard which includes a badge holder
Add $1 for each reel. Let me know if you want black or red reels. If you don't say, it will be black.
Total for a lanyard with reel is $3.63.

Payment: I can take paypal payments (basic account, not the premier account) at kylarice at worldnet.att.net. If you don't have paypal, I will take a check. For the UK people who don't have paypal, just pay when you pick up your lanyards, under the table please. Please pm me for my address to pay by check. Design E is the Winner!

It comes with a badge holder: http://www.kennyproducts.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=KPI&Product_Code=372
To add a badge reel http://www.kennyproducts.com/Mercha...en=PROD&Store_Code=KPI&Product_Code=425-blank, will be another $1 per badge reel.
I was thinking of ordering once I get everyone's payment and bringing them to Barcelona or the DIS meetup to pass out.

I posted this on the previous page, but in case you haven't seen. Some people were confused on how things attach together. Hopefully, this will clear it up:

Here is the lanyard with the badge holder (except ours will be vertical)
113321424_front-thumb.jpg
Here is the lanyard with badge reel (except ours will come as two pieces: a lanyard with J hook (as shown in the above pic). Each badge reels has a belt clip in back. The J hook hooks on the belt clip of the badge reel. See the little tab on the badge reel? That will snap onto the top of the badge holder. The badge holder will hold your Key to the World card. The badge reel is not heavy duty. It is a light string and is made to hold the weight of your badge holder.

Thank you again for doing all this!

So here's my story.........I get to work this morning, I have A LOT of work to do to finish the school year, I think, what the heck, I'll just stop in to the boards and check and see how many more posts Helen got overnight............all the sudden I notice.....6970........hmmmmmmmmm.......big pirate coming up.........so I start posting.......not a lot of action.....it's slow but steady.....so I leave the computer on........I check the student assignment books, I think, what can I do to stay on the computer and still keep an eye on the pirate?.........the students are doing their end of the year presentations......I check the boards as they're setting up............all of the sudden we're in the 90s...........I quickly post a few times, then I jump the gun and get 6999..........I'm in trouble........I've missed my chance..........so I take one more shot........I get hit with the 40 SECOND RULE....I'm sweating it out..........14 more seconds..........8 more seconds.........3 MORE SECONDS..... I HAVE NO CHANCE..............pirate: ..........7000 pops up! I quickly get off the computer............:teacher:

Thanks again for summarizing. You do it so well! :lmao: I missed all of it cuz I was busy in debriefs today. Congratulations on a major

Don't feel bad, Helen! I think we are all in the same boat, literally! We just got home from the baseball field and I was snapping pictures of my grandson pitching a no-hitter when guess what--the battery was nearly gone. It did hold up, but the rest of his team did not:headache: ....lost in extra innings.

When we came home, I could not find the charger!:rolleyes1

Well, I did find it about 20 minutes into the hunt...:confused3 already put together with the other camera's charger for the trip!!! I tried to pretend I was so organized:snooty: , but I think dh saw right through that one!!:rotfl:

Thanks - its good to know your not alone:goodvibes

Julie - have a wonderful and safe time. Don't get hurt as we need you to keep Andrew in check! :rotfl2:

Be safe!

ANDREW - Congrats on your 1000th post - :dancer:

 Thx for your message! I agree, I've been on those threads as well! Do you think that it's the large amount of Brits? Could they possibly be good luck?

I totally agree, this is a great thread.
When I went out for dinner with my mam, I spent the timing talking about the boards and how they work. She was a bit confused by the term thread but I said it was like a long letter, that we all take turns and write a bit on.

I am really really really looking forward to this cruise and meeting all of you.
It will be a great holiday I'm sure.

You are a great bunch - mad- :joker: but a great brunch
( although it takes one to know one:lmao: )

I dont think it has to do with there being a lot of brits - I think we are all a great bunch of people
:grouphug:

ok I've uploaded some pirate pics I hope this works

Lastly one of the mutiny when we overpowered Mickey and took control of the ship................................ok so I have a vivid imagination

These are GREAT Pictures! I love how you all get into the spirit of Pirate Night.

My dd, Kelly, already has her outfit. I think she won't have her boots, though - she's going to have to improvise. :)
